Newfound Lake, one of the cleanest lakes in the country—-and the local beauty abounds. We’re nestled in a lakeside community, with amenities including, beach, moorings, and docks. No limits here, to the exploring possibilities—-hiking Mt.Cardigan, Wineries, Breweries, numerous restaurants, a cute downtown shopping area and a pristine lake. The adventures are limitless in New Hampshire! You’ll have access to a private community sandy beach with kayak/SUP launch, picnic tables, volleyball net and horseshoes. We are able to offer additional a-la-Carte entertainment at a nominal fee, including pontoon boat lake tours, fishing, sunset cruise, and sandbar chilling.

House Rules
A maximum of 2 adult guest. All travel units must be self-contained, including toilet facilities. No smoking, no children, no generators, and no tents. 10pm quiet time. Well mannered dogs on leash welcome. Pick up after your dog and guest must follow all community rules. Dogs are not allowed on community beach. Guest provide firewood 3:00pm check-in 11:00pm check-out Use of the outdoor shower requires Guest provided biodegradable cleaning products only.

Our host Rich is one of the reasons  I really enjoy staying at harve st host locations. Communication was excellent and it was a great overnighter on our way to Mt. Washington. We took advantage of the electric and outdoor shower which was magnificent, and we were able to also have a bonfire the evening before we departed. The lake near by is beautiful and I highly recommend a stop at Redwood Cottage if you get the opportunity. Thank you so much.

Enjoyable stay at Redwood Cottage for weekend. Quiet and great location near Newfound Lake. Owners were very helpful with suggestions to explore and experience. Nice to have water and electric as an option.

We totally enjoyed our stay…with water and 15 amp electric available and super nice hosts. A short walk brings you to an amazing lake with a sandy beach to enjoy a nice swim after taking advantage of one of the many nearby hiking options, from easy to hard (the AT comes through nearby).

First let me say, our host communicated with me perfectly. We had multiple messages back-and-forth and he always answer everything in a timely fashion. This area of New Hampshire is truly a beautiful spot. We really enjoyed our time there! My wife and myself both wish we had more time to stay. There was many things to do there,including the host offering for us to use the neighborhood beach. This was a bonus that we really appreciated. The water was crystal clear. It was a delightful time. We also took advantage of an opportunity to ride on bikes on a local rails to trails. Restaurants are plentiful. For this being our first boondocking experience, we couldn’t be happier. We can recommend this host with confidencem. Richard took very good care of us.
