We have a large paved area in front of our barn. Wouldn’t exactly call it pull-through but plenty of room to turn around just past our barn and also the end of the road is a cul-de-sac which allows big rigs to turn around easily. Suggested Local Attractions:Lowell Historical National Park which includes the Boott Mills Museum, the Textile Museum, Canal tours. Tsongas Arena and Lowell Memorial auditorium where there are many venues. There is access to the Merrimack River very close to our house, free boat ramp for boats and Kayaks. Dump station approximately 5 miles from our property.

House Rules
Unfortunately, we are only able to accommodate campers from May through the end of October because the snow limits where we can put vehicles and campers. No running generators after 10pm. We have a large back yard , feel free to walk your dogs there and also relax there. We have allowed dogs to run free with supervision in our yard but Lowell has a “leach Law”, so, you may do so at your own risk. If you need to cancel or change dates, that’s fine, life happens, but please let us know as soon as you know , we try to schedule so we are around when you arrive to get you placed, and go over power, water, and local attractions. We have full schedules, and may have other things to do if you are not coming. Please show this courtesy to all host, it is what keep this wonderful system available for all of us. Please arrive before 8pm. We appreciate $5/night if you are going to use A/C or Heat, otherwise no charge.

MA Truck camping couple ! Details: We are a very active couple and live in MA. My name is Denise and my husband is Rich. We are both retired RN's. We love camping, hiking, boating, skiing, and long rides on our motorcycle and especially truck camping. We generally tow our motorcycle or our boat behind the camper. My husband is also building an Ultralight airplane and an RV8 and is an EAA member. He is a wood-worker and I spin wool into yarn on my spinning wheels and knit and weave. We live on 1.5 acres and have plenty of room available to accommodate our fellow campers. Lowell is a Mill City and has several great attractions in the area. It is a historical National Park that includes Canal Tours and the Boott Cotton Mill Museum and the Textile Museum. Home Town: Lowell, MA Favorite Boondocking Locations: We have not done much Boondocking except for a few rest stops and Cabelas. We join the North-East Truck Camping group for many of their Jamborees. We are also Good Sam members. We plan to cross country eventually. We spend a lot of time on the coast of Maine and have traveled to GA to visit our son and his family. Skills or Expertise to Share: Rich is a DO-It Yourself person and has many skills. He does wonderful woodworking and all the maintenance on our vehicles.

I stayed for 2 nights while I expored Lowell and the surrounding area. Great historic town and nearby State Forest. Lovely host couple who provided a bunch of information and a nice quiet, safe, and flat parking spot for the nights. Would definitely stay again if in the area. Highly recommended.

Rich & Denise were great hosts! They were very communicative about parking and provided a helpful local info sheet including attractions, shopping, tours, directions to the free dump station, etc. Nice neighborhood, so future campers please respect. Great hosts, I hope I’m welcomed back. Pets for Chief 🐾

Terrific hosts. Rich helped us park our rig and hook up with electric and water. Denise recommended that we see the Lowell National Historic Park, which was a real eye-opener. We'll have to come back.
