Location

Access Road Conditions: Just off state highway, with very little night traffic. First time arrivals MUST be at least 30 minutes prior to sunset, to facilitate positioning. Driveway curves. No low hanging trees. We have a 34' Class A. Location is about 500' from highway, and is sunny, and a rural yard, between house and barn. Parking is on gravel, and is not yet perfectly level, but close. Straight up the paved driveway and you will be guided into parking depending upon your rig. Even newbies have parked just fine. 50A power on barn, a 30' cable will do for most people. 120V 20A also on barn. City water also on barn, 30' hose works for most people. Tow Vehicle Parking Details: Not a problem. In line with rig, and other options. OK to charge EV on 50A.

I stopped for one night. The owner asked me to cal 15 minutes out and was waiting to guide to a spot besides his barn. Quiet location. Easy to find from the interstate. He offered 50 amp but I have lithium house batteries. Would stop again.

We had a great time staying at Riga. Val the host goes out of his way to inform you about everything possible before and during your stay as far as getting there, attractions and necessities. On top of that, we were able to take advantage of the 50amp plug in which was handy considering the tempratures and weather. Loved the fact that Val had some serious solar set up so we felt comfortable using the power. Were also able to top off our water. The gravel surface is not yet fully leveled but that was not an issue for us (plus Val let us know). Also nice and quiet. One of the best BW we have stayed at over the last 3+ years. Thanks very much Val! We hope to be back at some point when we do the Great Lakes.

We had an unexpected trip and this was a perfect stopover for a night. Val was a very thorough communicator, very accommodating and knowledgeable. He anticipated our needs and made himself available for whatever we needed. We were very grateful. great place to stay. great hosts.

We were very pleased with Val and Patti’s place. Quiet and peaceful with a great yard for our granddaughter to play in. Its close to Rochester so we were able to enjoy the zoo, the museum of play and a trip on the Erie canal with no traffic hassle. Great communication from the hosts prior to our arrival. There are 3 RV dealers very close and we were able to dump our tanks prior to heading home. Their solar/electric and water hook up was also greatly appreciated.
