River Safaris & Gulf Charter Marina, Homosassa Florida

We had booked this site for a stay, and booked a next day 630am manatee swim with their sister location, which was ~30 minute drive north. Weather was torrential downpour, and we could not get ahild of the sister location to confirm if the tour wiuld be on. This site called the sister location, confirmed the 630am tour was on, and then helped us get our HH reservation trasferred tonthe sister site. ehat a huge relief… so friendly and flexible. Hope to stay at this site next time we are in area.

My request was ignored. Not even a rejection to the request. I did call the location after reading other reviews and was told by staff that they were reviewing my request. I ended up staying in a hotel room that night which defeats the purpose of "RV'ing".

Getting in was a bit tight for our 39’ 5th wheel and duelly, but getting out was easy. Plenty of room to park and we spent a lovely, peaceful night there. Quick ten minute walk to Florida Cracker to see Monkey Island and partake in a cool beverage. When I didn’t receive a reply from my reservation request, I called and they happily accommodated us, saying sometimes the requests don’t come through. Great stay!

I asked a question on 1/28/2022. By 1/29 I had not received a response, so I made a reservation request for the night of 2/7, hoping for an eventual positive response to my question. By 2/4 the request was still pending, so my wife called River Safaris & Gulf Charter Marina. The woman who answered said that they had no availability on 2/7, had no record of our request, and accepted only Harvest Host, not Boondockers Welcome.
