We own twelve acres allowing for true Boondoggle stays at several locations. Only one of these has electric down a treed lane (drive thru). The easier sites are open and can be driven through by sweeping around. Trees are abundant as are open areas. Our sites abut another host that offers the same. They are a camping sales and repair facility to include camping goodies (not perishables). We also abut Interstate 99 with an interchange 1/4 mile away. We are "farmland" rural residential. A convenient store w/pizza, subs, beer is 2 miles away. On our other side is the Tioga River and the local rural swimming hole. This provides for canoeing and fishing if desired. We own the access to the river. An 18 hole golf course is 1 mile away Suggested Local Attractions:Corning Museum of Glass. Rockwell museum of western art. Watkins Glen (spectacular falls and canyon walk) Watkins Glen Race Track. Finger Lakes wineries. Finger Lakes boating and fishing. Pennsylvania Grand Canyon Curtiss Museum, Wings of Eagles, Soaring museum Robert Tremain Park Waterfalls-wineries-golf abound.

Retired business development consultant Details: As mentioned, we are retired and focus on naturally existing characteristics of life. In this realm our focus is on traveling to sites involving nature whether that is a national park or a nature center such as a bird sanctuary or an aquarium. We collect anything of fancy at the time, notably fossils, rocks and selective antiques. We love our home and surrounding properties and if not traveling or playing golf we will be working on something to improve on what we love; the land, the flora and our 1814 Federalist house. Home Town: We own the public square of Presho New York. The town is essentially gone save scattered homes making for a rural setting. We are six miles north of the Pa. border and adjacent to Interstate 99. The small city of note is Corning, New York at 7 miles away over the four lane Skills or Expertise to Share: My coffee cup says #source of all wisdom

I would highly recommend staying here. We met our hostess who was so very nice and even gave us a dozen of fresh farm eggs. We parked on a flat area surrounded by beautiful trees. Would definitely return.

We had a wonderful nights stay at Riverfern. Nancy was there to great us and guide us to our spot. We had a nice visit. She later returned with a dozen eggs. We took a few short walks to and along the river near by. We love old barns and we were next to her barn. The highway traffic may bother some, but we were fine. Our generator cover up the noise. Thank you Nancy and Paul for sharing you beautiful place with us.

Our hosts at Riverfern were absolutely wonderful. The site provided was flat, shady, and private. The location was close to Corning, with many things to see and do. Road noise was steady, but did not keep us awake, with AC on part of the time and windows closed. Great spot!
