RV area is gated within our gated community. I have to request a spot for guests so may need several days notice. The person I contact works Monday - Friday. If a spot is available (there are at least 30) I would need your full name so I can get you through security. There is a dump station there. No showers. There are 4 or 5 spots with electric, but assume they are popular with residents. Suggested Local Attractions:50 miles from Orlando. The beaches and Kennedy Space Center are nearby.

Retired and into traveling several months a year to see the US in a 22' RV. Details: We are Christal and Burt. We love cats, but no longer have one. Husband was a Spanish teacher and I was a Community College Librarian. I was an Army brat who grew up in the suburbs of Virginia and eventually moved to Florida (where it's mostly warm all year). Burt was born in Colombia and lived/worked on sailboats for years before becoming a teacher. While working we used our vacation time to travel in our sailboat (since sold). In 2012 we decided to get our RV. We both love to travel and visit new places. Husband is quite the fixer/tinkerer and does all the cooking (making him the perfect mate to me). I love reading, gardening and playing Scrabble while Burt enjoys Chess. Home Town: Melbourne, Florida which is about 50 miles from Orlando. We now live in a gated community called Indian River Colony Club. It does have an RV area where visitors can stay, I have to work with the person who manages that gated area though, and they work Monday-Friday. Favorite Boondocking Locations: In 2013 our fist long RV adventure was an 8000 mile winding trip out to the Grand Canyon/various National Parks in Utah. We've traveled from Florida up to the Blue Ridge mountains in Virginia and are happily investigating Florida State Parks. Our favorite Florida city is St Augustine (both by boat and RV). We have traveled all over the US and into Canada in our RV. Several years ago we went from Nova Scotia to Alberta in Canada. Burt has a brother in the Toronto area and we have visited him several times. Skills or Expertise to Share: Burt is an excellent cook...he's never found a fridge he couldn't use to make a great meal. He's also good general Mr. Fix it (although he doesn't much like messing with electrical issues). I'm OK with computers.

We have been looking for a site like this! We live in central Florida and love the beach. It was so convenient to have our camper near by to shower and sleep then head back to the beach in the morning. The site is a gravel secure lot with electric and water. There is a dump station near the entrance. We only saw two other people in the lot, the entire weekend. The hosts are the nicest people. They arranged everything so we could come and go as we wanted. We will definitely be back.

Very much enjoyed my stay here with the full hook ups in a quiet neighborhood. If you can get spot 3 or 4, take those before 1 or 2, while i was there someone decided to polish their trailer in the clean up spot while i was in spot 1 and so i had to pack everything up and move to a different spot to avoid the mess that would have been all over my trailer. Im sure this doesnt happen often and of course its no fault of the host, just good idea to avoid the spot next to the clean up station if possible. Still a totally AMAZING spot.

How lucky we are to have a host in this part of Florida. A gated quiet neighborhood, close to Hwy 1 and 95. We had the pleasure to meet Christal and Burt, what a wonderful couple. Christal was able to get us a spot with electricity and water. It was nice taking our morning walks in a nice neighborhood and everyone so friendly.

This place was perfect for access to the local beaches, etc and we even had free electric hook up! Quiet out-of-the-way place to park…Hosts were easily available and finally got to meet them right before we left, great people and would’ve loved to get to know them more, maybe next time!
