Rob and Judy, We are also Boondockers Welcome hosts at our home in New Jersey. We’ve owned every type of RV over the years. We really enjoy the outdoors and traveling. I’m a licensed master plumber and Judy is an office manager. Recently down sized from a 30 foot class A. Now we travel in a 2023 Winnebago Solis van.

After a long ride from North Carolina, it was a very pleasant surprise to pull into Wachtler's Place. Easy access, plug in, bathroom on site for us, super friendly host who gladly accepted my wife's gift of two slices of peach pie fresh from Georgia! Highly recommended.

This was a perfect location for us to visit NYC for a few days. We were able to get the 197 bus direct to the Port Authority bus station with only a 10 min walk from the house. Parking area was level and quiet overnight. Host was helpful and welcoming. We were very grateful that he allowed us to fill up with water and use the electric as it was raining so our solar wasn’t charging much.

Same day reservation as I was just passing thru for one night on my way north. Rob was very quick to answer. It had snowed the day I arrived and he already shoveled his driveway where I was to park. A nice, secure, and safe spot. It was a cold day and night with temps in the low teens so we didnt get much time to sit around and talk. He has a 30A hookup which was great to run my electric and save my propane. My first BW experience and it was a good one. Thank you Rob!
