My wife and I have been camping for about 25 years 3 and a half was full time. We decided to build a home base for us and our friends to stay while traveling through. That’s why the name Camp Rendezvous, we retired from being custom home builders in 2009. We have 5 kids scattered everywhere and lots of grand kids, also a very diverse group of friends. We have several cook outs and group gatherings at our place.

Great place to stay! Definitely among the best. We were there for 3 days. Easy access, great location right off the road. FHU($15) was really nice. The Chipps were very nice and even showed us around their custom-built home. Highly recommended!

Everything was as advertised, except for one thing. I walked our dogs late at night for their before bed potty break. It was a perfectly still night, I realized that there was an absolute absence of all sound that night. It’s been a long time since I’ve been to place a nice as this. Very accommodating people with a very well done property.

and it may end up being among the best? the spot is great next to a big small town, the hosts met us at arrival, helped with getting parked, and even loaned us an electrical adapter and a sewer hose after discovering our other hoses were junk! while we were sorry for their need to be elsewhere much of our stay so we didn't get to share much conversing as we'd like, (and the neighbor's dog might have been a sour note), whatever they could control was done with a generous and exceptional spirit! and her pumpkin bread was fantastic!!

We had a great stay at Chipps Place. The hosts met us at the site to welcome us in and help get setup. FHU for $15 donation is hard to find. We had a nice visit before turning in for the night. Would definitely stay here again.
