I have only a driveway to offer but it's safe haven, free and includes 15amp hookup, water hookup when outdoor temps allow and free, high-speed wifi. I know from my recent travels how awesome it is to have a safe, cheap/free, place to park overnight, even if its a driveway. Suggested Local Attractions:The Finger Lakes area is to the south and is a beautiful area, welcoming and full of vineyards and wineries. Lake Ontario is 5miles north. Adirondacks in all their splendor lie 200 miles to the north.

House Rules

Social distancing is encouraged (who wants to get sick) but don't let it keep us from conversing! I have a 2000 sq ft, back yard with six foot wood fence for guests and dogs to roam free. Free use of my patio, gas bbq and patio chairs. The famous Wegmans' supermarkets and gas stations are plentiful and very nearby. I work from home so I am almost always around (when not traveling). No excessive alcohol use, limited smoking, quiet hours 9pm to 9am.

Happy Grampa, semi-retired Details: I am semi-retired bought my first RV, a Class C, Forest River Sunseeker 2850. My first trip was 6,400 miles from NY to Colorado, Utah, Arizona, Texas, Arkansas, Kentucky, Ohio and back home with my adult daughter and my two pups. We couldn't meet with locals much due to Covid but saw a lot of beautiful country including Rocky Mountain National Park, Arches, Bryce Canyon, Zion, Grand Canyon and White Sands. It reminded me of how much natural beauty our country has to offer. I hope to RV around the country and see much more in the years to come. Home Town: Rochester, NY, upstate Finger Lakes Region. A beautiful area to ride my Goldwing during summers. Favorite Boondocking Locations: To be determined and discovered. Skills or Expertise to Share: A committed DIYer, my skill set lies between village idiot and rocket scientist (but closer to the former).

Raymond was very helpful pointing out the best of Rochester. His backyard was a peaceful place to relax after sightseeing and the perfect place to let my dog off leash.

Thank you, Wingman, for a wonderful stay in Rochester! Our host was very accommodating and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome at his place. The location is ideal, very close to town yet quiet at night. We enjoyed watching the fireflies at dusk. I would definitely recommend this place if you’re coming to Rochester. 😀

This was our second time staying with WingMan. Perfect location for us to visit our son who lives in the area. Nice residential location not far off the main highway. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

thankful to have found this stop in my journey. considerate host & level space in a residential neighborhood. Despite it being a a squeeze for my larger (27’) rig, he was gracious enough to help me make parking much easier & i am grateful for the amenities & ease of access here!
