* when approved, please text me (701-626-1463) for info of parking spots in case I’m gone. It is a commercial business. i have room for most any rig. Rigs under 36 ft. can park on north(front) side of little blue building. longer rigs will need to back in alley on south side. I no longer own the whole lot so can only park on furthest east lot. water & sewer dump is in city park near buy. not a fancy spot, but will do for an overnighter. lots of things to see in local area. if time permits, i can visit and or give tour of local area. i'm willing to help with anything i can. Suggested Local Attractions:nice park and pool(that has paid camping spots). a couple great eateries. a few other close by historic attractions. I also have another location(no amenities) that is 9 mi. East of velva in the little village of Bergen. It offers shade with peace and quiet. the location is below: 48.0001426, -100.7162558 its the south grass driveway with a white storage shed on the corner of 5th ave and townsend st. I camp here alot just to get out of my town. * side note* the winter dates that are blocked are because i'm gone and there may be too much snow on the lot. however, if you just need an overnight rest stop, you can make the request(just pick a unblocked date) and i'll call you back. Due to boondockers website being confusing to me and multiple guests coming in, I’m asking all guests to send me a text ,with your name and dates you are staying, for further info/update. This is just an effort to sort everybody out 701-626-1463 Much appreciated, Dan.

We stayed at Dan's place in Belden. He sent excellent directions and checked with us a few times. The spot is a narrow lot in a tiny community with bushes on both sides offering a cozy feel and rustling in the breeze . He has a nice fire pit/benches/ light area at the back of the site with firewood set and ready to light. We heard a train a few times- we like train sounds so no issue to us, but if that isn't something you enjoy, be aware.

Host we gracious to send parking map prior to our arrival. Pull though parking was great. Close to road, not too noisy. Nice display of granite monuments... although I'm not ready for one yet!
