I'm a mental health professional who enjoys the outdoors and meeting new people. My spouse is an engineer. We've been RVing for 3 years now. In the last year I've become a permanent remote worker, and so I'm hoping for more combined work-play RV adventures! Home Town: Atlanta, Georgia Favorite Boondocking Locations: I love staying in all kinds of places, meeting new people, seeing different parts of the country. For 2018 and 2019, I had the entire summer off and drove across the country - a northern loop in 2019 and more of a southern one in 2018 and stayed in places ranging from campgrounds, national and state/local park campgrounds, to harvest hosts, to Boondocker locations, on occasional overnight at a Flying J ... and in friend/family driveways, too! I drove about 6500-7500 miles mostly by myself but my spouse joining when he could. I underutilized Boondockers on those trips because I often made plans on the fly, and lack of an app really impaired by ability to do that. But now...the app... it's fantastic!!! Skills or Expertise to Share: Basic metal smithing and jewelry making, cooking, baking, experienced in teaching mindfulness/meditation skills, spouse is handy with fixing things and loves to play music and we often travel with a 3/4-size guitar and an egg shaker :-)

Very nice folks and nice level parking pad. Nice short walk to a beach. Great place for an overnighter.

Really enjoyed myself at the Rockett Pad, the couple was super friendly and helpful and very hospitable. There was a cute beach at the end of their street that i walked my dog to. The small downtown area was also really nice! It was difficult to turn around in their driveway but if youre patient, it is possible!

I had a nice time staying here in Conecticut, the hosts were very accommodating and comfortable to stay with. I was able to bike down into the town a mile away and get breakfast and also had a great time having diner and talking with them, nice people to become friends with.

The host met us in the driveway to get us situated and gave us some ideas for walking the beach, which is a short distance from their home. We went for a long beach walk, which was beautiful! We enjoyed a quiet night sleep and in the morning the host invited us for coffee on their deck. We sat and chatted for an hour or so; they are super nice people. It’s always great to hear about the adventures of other RVers!
