8500 feet elevation, north slope, some shade, forested Aspen, Doug fir, lodgepole, ponderosa, spruce, views to the north. 10 min to groceries, 25 min to Mount Evans, About 40 min to downtown Denver. Epic mountain bike trails 15 min from the house. Suggested Local Attractions:Redrocks, Mount Evans (with reservations) , downtown evrgreen, Golden Coors Brewery, 14ers within 1 hour, Vail 1 hour away.

House Rules
No smoking in or by the forest. No camp fires. no Generators after 9:30 pm Respect the neighbors, No loud music or partying after 9. You are welcome to hike on the property. only mine Clean up after your dog. must be on leash or demonstrated voice command (wild life). Leave the area the way you found it. No food left outside, it would attract the bears. Be ready to leave if Im going on shift the next day, about 6am

Access Road Conditions: Dirt road, we have had large trucks down the drive, and a 30 foot motor home, you might have to back in or turn in front of the garage. some branches on evergreen dr, its okay if you are careful Tow Vehicle Parking Details: Motor homes or vans only, no real place to turn around a long trailer, maybe a popup on a case by case

I messaged this host and requested a stay 5 days ago. the request has been left pending and still is. I have never had this problem before on Harvest Host and wish there were more communication or the host shouldnt have had the days available to request.

Beautiful property - with a few options for parking. I chose to park near the house & take advantage of wifi. Jim was very kind & hospitable. I just nestled in for 2 nights before heading home. Thank you Jim.

Very hospitable host. Challenging lasst few miles after a long day of driving for seniors. Very scenic and quiet overnight stay.

Had a great stay at Rocky Mountain High. The host went above and beyond to get me situated and make sure everything was just perfect. Even texted me to let me know a herd of elk were right next to my camping spot. I certainly hope to return, it's a beautiful part of the country. Thank you!
