The campsite is located in our back yard. It is a grassy, level area. We have a 20/30/50 electric hook-up and a water hook-up at the site. There is an adjacent firepit and picnic table that you are welcome to use. We do run a small masonry construction business out of our home. Our employees come and go from the yard, but the disruption is usually minimal. Empty Nesters Ready to Travel and Explore! We have been self-employed in the masonry construction business for many years. Our eldest son is working in the business now, allowing us to travel more. Slowly, but surely, full retirement will eventually happen! We enjoy most outdoor activities including hiking, biking, paddle boarding and site-seeing. We prefer to take the path less-traveled when time allows for that. We have found that there is nothing better than a personal reference to find a special place to visit! We have a busy Boondockers Welcome host site; and we consider ourselves privileged to meet all of the great guests that stay with us! Home Town: Vermont Skills or Expertise to Share: A third-generation masonry contractor and a retired medical transcriptionist/doula.

The place has all the good stuff. Great hosts. Perfect parking spot. Electric and water Hookups, Fire pit with chairs, lovely surrondings and quiet at night. Doesn’t get much better. Also, nearby Burlington is on the water, is beautiful and has lots of stuff to do.

Our site was mostly level and easy access to the utilities. The grounds and area were gorgeous. The two owners made us feel right at home and honestly treat this Boondocking site almost as if it was a B&B. We enjoyed our talks with Kevin and Phillanne, to the extent that we went out to dinner with them. We very much joyed their company and their hospitality. We invited them to come and see us next time in Florida. They truly are outstanding hosts. There was plenty to see, do and eat in the area. Only a short drive to Lake Champlain. We ejoyed riding our bikes on the huge bike path by the lake. Dountown Burlington is a must see. Area so peaceful and quiet that I received the best nights sleep in two months. This area is awarded the cleanest air quality in the country. It was evident to us as we slept with our windows open for the first time ever. Don’t over look this host next time in the area!

My first BW stop and it was perfect. The location was great. My main goal in staying here was the Shelburne Museum and its 10 minutes away. The day I arrived I was given access to their binders full of local places to go and see and another of their grounds. i picked a fun place to go to dinner and see downtown Burlington, Church St. Market. The hosts were welcoming and very friendly but respected your privacy. The site was level and clean with access to water and electric. Also a patio table, fire pit if you wanted to use them. Overall I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Kevin and Phillanne couldn't have been more accommodating or welcoming! The site is as pictured with water and electric located conveniently by the fence. (So appreciated on some very hot Summer days during our stay!) This is also where you'll find the very useful and thoughtful books to tell you about the area - what a nice touch! Their home is beautiful as is their land with areas to walk around. Loved the fire pit too even though we didn't end up using it. They seemed to have thought of everything to make campers comfortable! Their place is an easy and straight 3 miles from Route 89. When we left it truly felt like we had met new friends. This was our first Boondockers Welcome stay and it was fabulous! (Just a bit afraid Kevin and Phillanne have set the bar too high for future BW hosts!) You won't regret staying with these new friends. Thank you for your hospitality!

Kevin and Phillanne and their place are just amazing. First the spot: quiet, near their house but surrounded by nature and lighting bugs at night and so close to Burlington center. They give you access to electricity (thank you) and they made 2 books about what to do in Vermont (and it’s a big book so full of precious informations) and an other where every guest can write about what they loved in the country so you can have ideas for later). And those 2 people are so kind, open minded…we feel really grateful having the luck to meet them both and hopefully we will meet them again. We highly recommend their place
