Empty Nesters Ready to Travel and Explore! We have been self-employed in the masonry construction business for many years. Our eldest son is working in the business now, allowing us to travel more. Slowly, but surely, full retirement will eventually happen! We enjoy most outdoor activities including hiking, biking, paddle boarding and site-seeing. Our four grandkids keep us busy and smiling! We prefer to take the path less-traveled when time allows for that. We have found that there is nothing better than a personal reference to find a special place to visit! We have a busy Boondockers Welcome host site; and we consider ourselves privileged to meet all of the great guests that stay with us! Home Town: Vermont Skills or Expertise to Share: A third-generation masonry contractor and a retired medical transcriptionist/doula.

This is one of the nicest set up BW sites we've ever been do. There's a full campground-style power pedestal (50a/30a/15a) and water hookup. The property is absolutely stunning. There are hiking trails and fun areas for the kiddos. Phillanne and Kevin are super sweet and we would gladly recommend this spot to anyone in the future. 💚

We were able to reserve 4 nights at this Boondocker's Welcome (our first) and time really flew by. A very impressive location, with wonderful hosts. Kevin and Philanne came out to greet us as we pulled into their driveway and made us feel welcome right away. The RV location is beside their pool and provides electric and water service. They have also provided a TON of information on the local attractions, restaurants, etc. in a mailbox in the same location. While it rained almost everyday of our stay, there was still plenty to do in the area (we covered a LOT of ground!). Highlights for us included Palmer Lane Maple for Maple Creemees (gotta get the sprinkles!!), the Lake Champlain Causeway in Colchester, the Shelburne Museum, and a drive up Rt 100, thru Stowe and Smugglers Notch. All in all we couldn't have asked for anything more - great personable hosts, great RV location and utilities, and plenty to keep us busy. Highly recommended, we would definitely stay with Kevin and Philanne again!

What an amazing place to stay. Kevin and Philanne were amazing hosts and their property is beautiful. They offer water and electric (20A, 30A, and 50A). The electrical box was professionally installed and better than most campgrounds. Kevin noticed me trying to fix a maintenance issue and he offered assistance. Great spot, great people.

This was our first boondocker’s welcome site for us newbies. Phillanne and Kevin are gracious hosts that went above and beyond. They have a beautiful manicured level site to park on, with electric, water, amazing views, fire pit, walking trails that our dogs loved off leash. They greeted us and had lovely chats. She explained the layout and made these 2 amazing books. One of Vermont must see sights and the other of all the states for fellow boondockers to add in their favorite places. They put so much thought and time into welcoming strangers onto their property but we left as friends! We will definitely return to stay here again.
