25 foot driveway or you can park alongside the road. It is fairly quiet and there is an outlet to plug in for the lights. I would prefer my electric be used responsibly instead of a generator. It's just a driveway but I welcome you to walk around the other side of the house and sit down by the river and enjoy the view. This is a working hobby farm. Your pet is welcome to be present in your camper on the property but please walk them up the road on leashes and pick up after them. Suggested Local Attractions:Portland Saco river White Mountains

Northeast traveler Details: I enjoy meeting new people and enjoy being a part of a network of hosts and travelers on this site. I have hosted a few of folks and would enjoy hosting more. I have been able to take some time and boondock in Maine. It has been fun! For some reason I have missed a couple of emails from people wishing to boondock...don't give up ...try again if you don't hear from me. Perhaps the emails are getting waylaid in the junk mail? Home Town: It is 30 min from Portland, the ocean, the mountains and ski areas. A short driveway and close to the river Favorite Boondocking Locations: I love to be close enough to water so I can hear it! Rural areas are my favorite

In a beautiful area on the river, even though the water level was unusually low I was told. Host was great about replying quickly and gave clear instructions. Driveway was level and just long enough for my 30’ RV, and it was shaded part of the day. I was able to hookup to 15amp power for my fridge and fans. She also had an outdoor shower that was private, a welcome and unexpected surprise to be able to take a nice shower after a hot day. The host kindly offered the use of her kayak and gave me a tour of the private swimming hole. In the evening, she took me for a canoe ride down river, and it was lovely. It was a good stop that I’m glad I took. I recommend.

We had a short but great overnight stay at Saco River. The hosts helped us find their spot after we got a little lost driving past it (double check that the address listed on the "directions" tab on the BW tab is the same as their actual address) and were extremely kind and welcoming. Thank you for a great stay!

This host's space on the Saco River is amazing! Highly recommended. It was easy for me in my 19ft Class B campervan. Very gracious and helpful host. Thank you!

Very good communication and response time. They were considerate and helpful and very kind. We stayed in the driveway snd it was a perfect overnight stop. They were helpful with services nearby as well. A handy boondocking location.

Quick one night stop worked out very well- good communication- although near road, all very quiet. Great to have quiet night to just watch movie.
