I just have a house in a quiet residential area. There are power outlets in the garage. You can use the backyard for your chairs, tables, screenroom, grilling . I have a charcoal grill and a small fire pit you are welcome to use. About a one hour drive to Peoria, IL to the south and Moline, IL to the west. A small town with a Walmart, Menards, fast food and a few nicer restaurants. Suggested Local Attractions:There are a few nice parks in town for walking, fishing , Disc golf. 2 golf courses. Less than 10 miles to Johnson-Sauk Trail state park for fishing and hiking. They have a campground with a dump station but I don't know if you can use it if you don't camp there. If your staying a few days,There is an Amtrak station in town. The train will take you to downtown Chicago in 2 hours.

Just like the name says, it's a safe haven to stay there. We wanted to go for a walk so she told us where to go to see the beautiful neighborhood park and town. Very friendly and have great conversations. Thank you for your hospitality. We'd like to come by again.
