Due to the city changing rules, your RV can only be as much as 24 ft., but you can disconnect the tow vehicle and park it across the street. Parking is on the street so No slide outs. There is a large city park with two dogs walk areas about a two or three minute drive from the house. Suggested Local Attractions:Near the house in the park is a land bridge connecting to halves of the park. Quite a unique location. Of course San Antonio is a tourist town and there are thousands of things to do.

Long time San Antonio residents Details: We have lived in San Antonio all our lives. We can tell you all about the place. We like to travel. We have a travel trailer. There is a bus stop nearby where you can get a bus directly to downtown. Across 2 streets are several good restaurants and a large grocery store is nearby. Driving downtown takes from 10 to 20 minutes. Public pools are open for the summer. One is a natural spring. You can plug into our outdoor socket and put kitchen trash In our brown trash bin. Let us know if you have any mechanical trouble. It’s possible we can help. BTW there are no dump stations nearby so plan to come empty or dump on your way out of town. Had a great stay very nice and accommodating couple. Upon arrival Leslie greeted us outside and gave us a map with some suggestions what to do. Exchanged some stories and location was perfect for us. Thank you for the stay

We made our request just a day or so before going to San Antonio. The request was for the weekend of New Years. Chuck responded almost immediately that we could stay. We were excited. He provided us information on how to get to his house so we'd be facing the right way when we got there. We arrived and he had the electrical ready to hook up. Everything was just as he described. It was on street parking. Nice and flat. The neighborhood was super quiet. We chatted for a few minutes and he recommended a restaurant near by to go to that turned out to be pretty good. We Ubered around to and from his place to the riverwalk. It was a great weekend. I think I would have loved to visit with him and his wife more, they were so nice. Hopefully there will be a next time. One of the things I really liked is that he will accept up to a 5 day stay. How great is that? This host is definitely staying on my favorites list.

The hosts were very and accommodating. Chuck ran an electric chord for our use from the house to our camper through an indention in the sidewalk seam so no one could accidently trip over it. There was very little traffic; the neighborhood was quite peaceful. An UBER taxi to the Riverwalk cost 20 dollars and a regular taxi costs twice that amount. They are interesting people and I wish we had more time to chat. Thank You! We certainly appreciate your thoughtfulness. Steve and Lauran, New Hampshire Eurovan

Wonderful hosts. Helpful when I locked my key in my truck. Shared great ideas for my adventures. Let me stay extra day so I could explore more.
