Directions were great. The host was waiting and came out to greet us. He gave us tips on nearby food, sights to see in town. Interesting fellow, very smart, educated, creative, nice, and friendly.

After my night in San Antonio, I drove West to Kerrville, TX to get a view of the full eclipse at the Host’s suggestion. Unfortunately it was overcast so I didn’t see much, but there was a magic moment when about 2 PM day turned to night during totality.

The host is very friendly and knowledgeable about things to do, places to eat and where to shop in San Antonio. We took several of her recommendations and they were great! We could walk from their house to convenient shopping and yummy restaurants. The parking is level and pretty quiet.
