I live in the east mountains out of Albuquerque....off of Interstate 40. I have a driveway that is relatively level that I am delighted to offer to boondockers. If your rig is longer than 28 foot you will need to back out but shorter rigs can pull through on my circle driveway.....two gates. Electricity and water wouldn't be a problem, either. Suggested Local Attractions:Sandia Man Cave Dwelling, Sandia Peak Ski Area, Sandia Crest, Balloon Fiesta in Albuquerque in October, Santa Fe....just 45 minutes from my driveway.......Indian Pueblos....ancient Indian ruins....Spanish Colonial sites.....Petroglyphs.....ghost towns.....gold mines....Sandia Peak Tram....so much to see and do.......!!

House Rules
Keep the gates closed. My property is completely fenced for the safety of my dogs. If the gates are left open there is a chance that they could get out and that could cause a tragic outcome. Be very careful tossing cigarette butts outside. When we are in a bad drought situation, like we are right now, everything is highly flammable and wild fires spread incredibly quickly.
Location
Access Road Conditions: I live in the country on a road that is paved. There shouldn't be any access problems with your RV except in the winter when it could be impossible to make it to my location in your RV. Tow Vehicle Parking Details: If your RV is longer than 21 feet, you will probably need to unhitch. I have lots of parking for your "Toad" on my property.

A smiling face looking for other smiling faces! Details: As I get closer to retirement, I can't wait to "hit the road". In the meantime, I am happy to meet new friends passing through my area. It's so much fun to welcome everyone and to share a bit of New Mexico. I am still working full time for a hotel in Albuquerque as a Catering Manager. I work long hours but that won't keep me from opening my place to new RV friends. I live with four (Yes....FOUR....including two new puppies) standard poodles on five acres in the East Mountains out of Albuquerque. I love to do genealogy research and am anxious to visit some spots in Tennessee, Virginia, Maryland and Kentucky to "dig up" some ancestors. I am working towards my retirement dreams and have been the recipient of many great new ideas from my guests. It's been wonderful to share travel stories with my new friends. Home Town: Sandia Park, NM....in the East Mountains out of Albuquerque.....close to Sandia Ski Area and the Crest of the Sandia Peak.....close to the Sandia Man Cave...... My home is at approximately 7,200 feet so during the winter months it is quite chilly and usually very snowy here. There may be times during winter months when I would recommend not to even try getting here from where-ever you are. The roads here get quite icy and can be closed down by the State Police at anytime during a severe storm. When we have a big snow, it is measured in feet and I am sometime a little slow at doing all that hand shoveling. By April, the weather is usually stabilizing BUT we have had big storms in April some years. Favorite Boondocking Locations: One of these days......I will be out "there", too. Counting down to retirement and full-time RVing. Right now, I love to head to the mountains around New Mexico for a little weekend get-away. I know a great place about 3 hours from my house that has a fabulous hot spring within walking distance. That's a great place to spend the weekend. Skills or Expertise to Share: I am a bit of an historian and love to share my knowledge of the history of New Mexico. I have an interest in traveling around Mexico and eventually around Central and South America. For those RVers wondering about traveling to Mexico, I am happy to share my knowledge and tell some "tall tales", too.

Patryk was a wonderful and accommodating host with sweet dogs and beautiful property. Our little spot included a sitting area with hammock to watch the sunset.

Very generous and welcoming lady with 4 beautiful dogs. She was super helpful to us as my wife was sick and she took me to the grocery and offered medicine if needed. Unfortunately we had to leave early to get some medical attention for my wife but that doesn’t change my opinion of our stay. The lady is a doll and we would stay here again if invited. She has a gorgeous property and those sunsets are to die for!

Mustang Chaser is the perfect Boondockers experience. Beautiful, private, quite location with a beautiful vibe that emanates from the host's soul. If in the area I highly recommend not just for the great location, but the opportunity to meet a true fellow traveler.

Spent 1 nite with Patryka in May. Lovely weather and host was very gracious and accommodating. Must be very careful on entering loop driveway as utility cables scraped our 11 ft 7 inch roof. Newer/higher coaches will not get under the cables. Our 32 foot class A is about all the driveway can handle. Patryka lost her horse several months ago and is in the grieving process. Thuroughly enjoyed our stay.

We really liked staying here with Mustang Chaser, who could not have been a more gracious host. Such a beautiful area and so convenient to Albuquerque and Santa Fe. Getting to meet the dogs and horse was just icing on the cake.
