We have a spot in the backyard of our home in Santa Cruz that can accommodate a van or RV up to 20'. The space is enclosed behind a rolling gate so it is private and secure. We are in town so there will be typical city noises. Our home is about a 20 minute walk to downtown and about a 40 minute walk to the beach. The back yard is pet friendly and secure. Suggested Local Attractions:Many hiking opportunities, biking, Boardwalk and Wharf, Monterey Bay Aquarium, Harbor, golf

House Rules
No smoking on property, no generators, keep the back gate closed, we prefer to help guests get situated when they arrive and when they leave because the area is small and can be a bit tricky getting in and out. Please arrive before dark.

We are a retired couple who love to travel in our sprinter van. We have been campers for many years and just got home from a ten week trip as far northeast as Newfoundland Details: We love to meet new people and connect with locals when we're traveling which is why this boondocker idea really resonates with us. We live in a lovely area and we know how hard it is to find a place to park here without being hassled. Most of the state parks here are booked very far in advance so it makes traveling without an itinerary very challenging. We've lived in Santa Cruz for about 40 years so we know the area well and would be happy to give advice if it is wanted. Our most enjoyable travels have included meeting locals and we look forward to being both a host and a user.

I couldn’t be more appreciative of how Doug and his wife welcomed and hosted us. They were flexible about our arrival time, helped us fit into space, and were great communicators. I would happily stay here again!

This is an amazing location, right in Santa Cruz, close to everything. The hosts were very gracious, and showed me how to get set-up. It's in a very nice neighborhood and felt very secure. Thank you Doug and Donna!

D2 were both so kind and welcoming. We loved their home and our spot in their side yard. They both greeted us and we found ourselves wishing we had more time to get to know them better. We hope to stay there again!

If you’re in a Class B, Doug and Donna’s place is a great opportunity to spend the night in Santa Cruz. Walking distance to restaurants and grocery stores. Two of the nicest people you will ever meet!
