Hallsville is located approximately 45 min from Tyler, Shreveport and Caddo Lake. There is even a Winery located about 15 minutes away. We have 5 beautiful acres surrounded by woods. It is peaceful and private from neighbors and many wild animals cross our property. There is plenty of room for any size camper or campers. John’s background is construction and remodeling. He also has repaired many RVs in the past. He has the tools to possibly help you if you have a RV problem. Diane continues to work in physical therapy. We love to travel and meet people. We also love boating/water sports, skiing, motorcycles, gardening, shopping for antiques, and searching out new food and wine. We also enjoy creating things. We have been to all 4 corners of the USA and also love traveling to different countries. We would love to hear about your travels and adventures. We are fairly close to many lakes, state parks and interesting small towns that you can visit in this area.

John and Diane live in the Piney Woods of East Texas. John is 6th generation Texan, retired from residential remodeling and Diane continues as a Physical Therapist. We love to travel, explore new settings, find adventure, meet/entertain people and live. We are never bored. We are, without a doubt, water people as we love boating, canoeing, and all things in or on the water. Our hobbies are too many, but include creating things, boating, water sports, fishing, skiing, cars, motorcycles, gardening, cooking, antiquing, searching out good food, wine and venues. We have been to all 4 corners of the USA and also many parts of the world.

Be sure to follow John's instructions on where to turn into his driveway. This was a great location. Went to Miss Minnie's for breakfast, owner was a hoot!

We had a great overnight at Secluded Acres. Even after being detained and arriving later than expected, the hosts were patient, friendly, and helpful as they helped direct us to our parking spot and orient us to the power hookup. We enjoyed talking to them about their garden and restoration projects. The property is nicely secluded, peaceful, maintained, and convenient to the highway. We recommend this location to anyone traveling through east Texas.

We felt like we arrived in a private park after driving down the secluded lane. Our host was there to greet us and help get us set up. Thank you for a restful night in a beautiful place.
