To reduce disappoint and potential confusion, we can only host class B or Cs up to 25 max length, see option noted below for longer lengths. We are located in the beautiful Texas Hill Country overlooking Canyon Lake. We are 1 hour from downtown San Antonio, 1 hour from downtown Austin and nested amongst too many small towns to mention. Numerous music venues, wineries, distilleries, and craft beer options are well within 1 hour. Grocery stores and a selection of restaurants are a short 5 minute drive away. The towns of Wimberley, San Marcos, and New Braunfels are between 15 and 30 minutes away. We have the spot with electrical next to our garage that can fit a total combined length of 25 feet (this includes tow vehicle!!) due to a turn around on our driveway. Longer vehicles (up to 35 max total length) can boondock on our lower level if they will not fit in the site with power due to size/height. Suggested Local Attractions:There are too many to mention here! Depending on your preferences, we can provide our favorites or direct you to ones you might enjoy.

Location
Access Road Conditions: The driveway is a long, gradual uphill . A little steep with a bump at the top to divert water. There is a turn around at the top where the parking spur is. It is a little tight so shorter is better! There are overhanging trees so a max height of 12 feet is necessary. Tow Vehicle Parking Details: Note that our driveway has a sharp turn around. Max total length of vehicle + camper or motor home is 25 feet unless you are willing to wiggle. The tow vehicle would park in front of the rig.

Love to travel the world, getting outside, and supporting small businesses! Details: We have lived here at the lake since ‘15 and love the location. Close to San Antonio and Austin and nestled amongst a hot bed of live music venues, craft breweries, distilleries, and wineries. We very much enjoy to travel the world and are originally from Canada. We are avid small RV’ers and like to explore off the beaten path. Home Town: Both my husband and I were born and raised just outside of Winnipeg, Manitoba , Canada and moved to the US in 2001. Favorite Boondocking Locations: We love Harvest Hosts and BLM lands. As most know - Texas does not have much of this but we take advantage when we travel to New Mexico or Colorado. Our favorite so far is “The Potholes” in western Colorado almost on the Utah border. 12 miles of dusty washboard road gets you to the most peaceful, isolated canyon - absolutely amazing place! Skills or Expertise to Share: We are both pretty crafty but my husband has yet to find a problem that he can not fix. He has renovated many of our homes himself, fixed our cars, and created some amazing furniture and designs,. I am a retail product, profit, and inventory management expert who now works only part time on a consulting basis.

What a great stay! Parked on nice level pad with power. Hosts were very kind and helped us get set up. Access is a little tight, but no problem for our Class C. thanks for a great stay.

Missed the driveway the first time past—and it is at the top of a hill—so the loopty loop was up and down a few fairly steep hills to get back. But upon arrival at the top of their driveway, it was easy to see to go all the way round on the left to the spot just on the other side of the garage. 6-point turn to get backed out was very easy with plenty of room to re-hookup my tow vehicle. These are probably the nicest and most hospitable folks you’ll meet. And they have plenty of sightseeing tips if you’re wanting to explore San Antonio or Austin or any of the small towns around. I’ll definitely be back by to visit.

Very accommodating and friendly. They invited us up to their deck for “happy hour“ to watch the sunset over the lake and great company! Great recommendations for entertainment and food. Overall very enjoyable experience. Hopefully will get a chance to come back. Thank you Louise and Hubert!!
