We consider ourselves in the country, but only 5 minutes from the nearest grocery store. We have 1.8 acres of land that backs up to a horse farm. We own a landscaping business and have several trailers already parked on the property. It is all flat. The most difficult part will be navigating through the driving gate. Once in the back yard it is very easy to maneuver around. If unable to get through the gate you can park in the front yard and still have plenty of room. We have 2 dogs that are under 25 pounds, they can be noisy but they stay inside unless we are home. Suggested Local Attractions: Several bars within 5-10 minute drive. Downtown Kalamazoo is a 15 minute drive. Western Michigan University's campus is also 15 minutes away. We can get you a list of places we recommend for food and/or drink and where to park downtown. We love this area and hope that you will too!

Love travelling and meeting new people! Details: We've travelled all over the globe, we're focusing on domestic travel more recently. We're enjoying finding new places to explore and learning tips of camping from others. Jon owns and operates a landscaping business out of our home, Stephanie works in the medical field. We work hard and play hard! We are expecting our first child November 2021 and look forward to having him camp with us! Home Town: We have lived in the Kalamazoo area for >5 years and in Michigan most of our lives. Favorite Boondocking Locations: Not yet! Skills or Expertise to Share: We are newer to camping, purchased out travel trailer in 2019. We always look forward to connecting with others and gaining their insights and expertise.

I've had dozens of stays with BW, all over the U.S. - this is now number 1. An absolutely gorgeous property, owned by the nicest people on the planet. A lovely and peaceful respite from the road, a perfect experience all around. I'm grateful, thank you so very very much! Mr. Meow thanks you as well! :)

What a wonderful place to stay while visiting family and taking in the Kalamazoo area. It’s so quiet here, but so close to town. We had power for free, and the grass is so nice our dog really hated leaving! The Hosts were so kind and caring! They gave us fresh Garlic from their garden and we enjoyed hanging out at the fire pit one evening. Thanks 🙏 Again guys we really felt at home!!

Great hosts. The location was easy to fine and very quiet and peaceful in a large back yard. We will stay again if the opportunity occurs. Thank you

The host here is most welcoming. We had a terrible storm and he called and offered us shelter if we needed to in his house. You can park away from anyone else in a large field behind the house. The spot is close to many places that are worth exploring.

We stayed 2 nights at Serenity Fields. Our hosts were gracious and very accommodating. The view was excellent and the grounds were level and spacious. The availability of a 110 outlet was helpful. We totally enjoyed our stay, thanks to our hosts.
