We consider ourselves in the country, but only 5 minutes from the nearest grocery store. We have 1.8 acres of land that backs up to a horse farm. We own a landscaping business and have several trailers already parked on the property. It is all flat. Once beyond the gate and in the back yard it is very easy to maneuver around. We have 30 Amp is you would like, though you will possibly need a longer cord to have access (close to 40’). We have 3 dogs that are under 25 pounds, they stay inside unless we are home. The yard is not fenced in, but if your animal listens they can be off leash. Suggested Local Attractions: Several bars within 5-10 minute drive. Downtown Kalamazoo is a 15 minute drive. Western Michigan University's campus is also 15 minutes away. We can get you a list of places we recommend for food and/or drink and where to park downtown. We love this area and hope that you will too!

Love travelling and meeting new people! Details: We've travelled all over the globe, we're focusing on domestic travel more recently since we have a child born in 2021. We're enjoying finding new places to explore and learning tips of camping from others. Jon owns and operates a landscaping business out of our home, Stephanie works in the medical field. We work hard and play hard! Home Town: We have lived in the Kalamazoo area since 2013 and in Michigan most of our lives. Favorite Boondocking Locations: Massachusetts Skills or Expertise to Share: We’ve updated our camper to better fit our kid and dogs, so we have some experience with campers. Jon also pulls trailers daily as part of his work. We always look forward to connecting with others and gaining their insights and expertise.

Close to I94. Lots of place to park on levelled ground in a huge backyard. Very quiet.

I had business to conduct, nearby, so location was great. When i requested the reservations, I received a quick reply from Stephanie and great instructions. Jon stopped by the first evening to welcome us in and check to see if we had any needs. He offered power and water. we came prepared to "boondock" so we didn't need any. Very polite, helpful hosts with a great location. Thank you so much!

We found this place last second, the owner wrote back us and approved the stay almost immediately. She was very kind and it was great using their 30amp hookup.
