We are a retired military family. We left Albuquerque, NM in June 2021 for life in the country. (Sing the tune of Green Acres is the place to be....) We have a few free range chickens, so fresh butt nuggets daily :) Brownie Boy likes to crow in the wee hours of the AM. You can view stars at night. We are approximately 20 to 30 min from Atlanta. Ever heard a donkey bray? A couple live across the street named Curly and Moe. Guess the husband's name...?

Brian and June are busy with a large family and pets ranging from dogs to chickens and geese, yet they still find time and energy to welcome travelers and make them feel at home. Moreover, they live on some gorgeous acreage not too fsr from Atlanta. We recommend them highly!

This is what it’s all about… a quiet, beautiful setting and the most hospitable hosts! We were met by the hosts and had a lovely chat before being helped to our spot. Quiet, level and a great view of the chickens and deer that roamed by in the morning. And there were gifts! Delicious, homemade relish and a fabulous embroidered tea towel. It was like staying with old friends!

Very helpful couple with geese, chickens and dogs! We leveled the site just a bit and everything was great!

We had a really beautiful time on this land. The family came out to greet us, help us park, and get all set up. We were able to run our generator as needed. The land itself is on a beautiful 7 acres of pine trees and we had nice privacy behind their house. They have sweet free-range chickens and geese which we enjoyed connecting to. Family gifted us some chicken eggs, homemade pickles and strawberries. It was a joy to meet them and we are so grateful for their kindness. Their kids and dogs are playful and enjoy the space too. We had a view of pure forest and open nature. Very grateful for the nature and peacefulness. One small disclaimer is backing into the space. For a smaller rig it would be no problem. For a bigger rig, it's slightly up a hill so taking time and having the right traction is important. As I mentioned, the family helped us back in and it made a world of difference. Thank you for having us! We'd love to come back 🙏

We had great communication with them and they were very accommodating. They had wonderfully behaved children that were great playmates with my 5 children. Which was perfect as they were able to get out all of their stored energy from being on the road for 12 hours. We also had good conversations with the couple that were unfortunately interrupted by a storm. We had to cutout early the next morning and they saw us off. We will be requesting to stay there again.
