This is a rural country setting with many trees. It is about 70 ft down our gravel driveway. We have an electric line (15A) ran from our garage to site for small power draw items. We have a friendly Border Collie mix, Max and our cat (Leo). Expect to see dear or turkeys in the yard. Suggested Local Attractions: Spring Valley campground nearby with dump service. Fee was $10. There is a nice local vineyard not far from our place. This vineyard probably cannot accommodate a rig but only the tow vehicle. There is another vineyard not far away also. Both have great views. There are other restaurants at the exit also. Salt Fork State Park, The Great Guernsey Trail, Coal Ridge Park, and the The Wilds are not far from us.

Location

Access Road Conditions: Our location is about 7 miles (10 minutes) from I-70. It is off a paved clear 2 lane county road on a chip-n-seal township road in a country setting. There are some minor hills on the county road but nothing to steep and there aren't many sharp corners. Watch the tree branches on our road. Required to pull in our driveway a short distance and then back in by the camper port. There is a one 35' L x 16' W x 13'6" H camper port to park beside. There is space beside the port to park a tow vehicle. The only electric plug is by this spot. There is also flat grass areas beside the the camper port and across the driveway that would allow space for a additional rigs.

Skills or Expertise to Share: Boating and cruising on our 40 ft Flybridge Sedan. I recently re-wired the AC 120 electric systems on the boat. I hope to install batteries, inverter/charger and solar panels in the future. We have installed a solar system in our camper. I do about all of the maintenance on our boat, truck and camper. I'm learning all that I can.

We had a nice stay here. Saw many deer and a fox with her kit. There are some windy roads to get here, but worth the effort. Host was accommodating and friendly. We enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful place in the country quiet posts were extremely nice and accommodating. They had family visiting so we didn’t want to disturb them too much but they took the time to come out and make sure we were OK and everything was good for us. That last bit of drive is a one lane road so just take your time.

Beautiful place in the country hosts are amazingly nice and accommodating. The last little bit to get there is a one lane road kind of uphill so take your time easy Peezy to get in and out and we’re 51 feet long total so anybody can do it.

We were greeted warmly when we arrived and shown where to park. John provided us with an Electrical 115v 15amp hookup and made us feel as if we were old friends. Our stay was quiet and peaceful with beautiful view and ample opportunity to experience wildlife. We highly recommend John and Dory as great hosts!

I spent 5 days here, parked BESIDE the RV cover as they had a unit in there. Very quiet and peaceful. Access and parking and leveling was easy and the 15Amp electric was appreciated - DO follow their instructions for directions to the property, easy drive in if you do. Now, to the hosts... John and Dory are wonderful people and fantastic hosts. John met me as I pulled in, talked with me many times during my stay, then we shared a fire for hours one night (best night of my stay). But Max, gotta watch out for their dog... he will demand so much love it's exhausting. :-). Great spot, great people, will definitely look to connect with them (and their boondocking spot) again.
