Location
Access Road Conditions: A gravel driveway leads up past the farmhouse & winery to the orchard & pastures. There is not any large gravel or paved area to turn around. Turning around must be by a T turn backing into the pasture, and then pulling out to complete the turn. In dry weather you can park and turn around in the pastures. In wet weather you can just park on the gravel drive. There is one spot with 12ft low branches. There is an old apple tree you need to drive past to get to the top of the ridge, but it is worth it for small rigs, for it’s beautiful view. Tow Vehicle Parking Details: There is room to park tow vehicles near your camper.

We booked off Boondocker‘s Welcome but I think they are more harvest host style. We enjoyed watching the sheep and pigs. It was easy to park. It was peaceful there.

Had a very pleasant stay at the orchard. The sunset was beautiful as was the sunrise. We had planned on spending two nights, but our plans had a sudden change. The spot we parked at was next to the greenhouse, not real level and a bit bumpy, but it worked. Watch out for low branches on the dirt driveway.

We really loved our stay at Shalom. Once we got into the back pasture we enjoyed watching the sheep graze beneath the sunset. It was a very peaceful place to stay. The wine tasting room is fun and we tried some deliciousness here. Thank you Jim for Your hospitality.
