Location
Access Road Conditions: A gravel driveway leads up past the farmhouse & winery to the orchard & pastures. There is not any large gravel or paved area to turn around. Turning around must be by a T turn backing into the pasture, and then pulling out to complete the turn. In dry weather you can park and turn around in the pastures. In wet weather you can just park on the gravel drive. There is one spot with 12ft low branches. There is an old apple tree you need to drive past to get to the top of the ridge, but it is worth it for small rigs, for it’s beautiful view. Tow Vehicle Parking Details: There is room to park tow vehicles near your camper.

Organic Farmers from Maine Details: We have an Organic Farm, Orchard & Winery on the coast of Maine. We have a Shuttle Bus I’ve converted to an RV. We are finally going to be doing traveling, and welcome visitors to Maine in the summer. Home Town: Franklin, On the Coast of Maine. Favorite Boondocking Locations: Just Started! But we like being near some water. Skills or Expertise to Share: I have a lot of skills doing construction, carpentry, Electrical, Plumbing, as well as taking care of sheep, chickens etc. also Organic growing including produce, fruit, and making preserves and organic fruit wines. I built my three story 24x40 post & beam winery myself. I’m glad to lend a hand with any project you have going, or lend expertise if something is beyond you by yourself.

We found ourselves with some time off, and thought we'd go to Maine. This venue was centrally located to where we needed to be, so we requested a stay. The response was very quick, and our stay was approved. We got there later than we had planned, but we were welcomed, and shown where to park. I would recommend this stay for anyone looking for beautiful views, and clear night skies. The stars were stunning!

Jim and Charlotte were great hosts. We learned a lot from Jim about producing Organic Apple Wines with the addition of very unique Apple wine offerings, plus a Honey Mead that’s exquisite! The location is ideal to make trips to Bar Harbor and Acadia NP. Our hosts provided us complete privacy while being very accommodating. Will enjoy staying with them in the future…
