We live in a residential neighborhood in close proximity to the interstate and near the New River. Slides outs could be put out on one side, but not the other. We have a fenced in yard so letting dogs off leash with an adult present may be possible. The fence is 3 foot tall so this may only be practical for smaller dogs. We have two chihuahuas that may be outside in the fenced-in area. Suggested Local Attractions:A boat ramp to the new river is nearby (we have walked there). There are local businesses renting tubes, kayaks, and paddleboards. Claytor lake is also nearby.

The honeymoon suite crosses the USA Details: We are a couple trying to see all 50 states while camping with our two chihuahuas Chiquita and Rio. Home Town: Radford, Virginia Favorite Boondocking Locations: No favorites yet! We can’t wait to find our favorites. At this writing our boondocking experiences have included store parking lots, but we are anxious to change that. Skills or Expertise to Share: We are new to boondocking, but not to camping in general. We have had this RV for 5 years, but previously had a Little Guy tear drop trailer. So far we have camped in 15 states and would be happy to share any knowledge learned along the way.

Conveniently located right off of I -81. Quiet neighborhood. This is my second stay here. Tripp greeted me when I arrived and assisted me in backing into the space. He is continuing to work on making the gravel area more level which is helpful. You can see beautiful sunsets from this property.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay next to a cute little Shasta. Quiet neighborhood and kind, generous hosts. Good location from which to bike the New River State Park.

The host went above and beyond to accomodate us. Easy place to park and very quiet and convenient to the Interstate. Thank you for allowing us to stay on our trip down the Shenandoah Valley.

enjoyed my two nights at Shasta Sleepover and meeting Tripp. i sent him my ETA and he met me to help with backing in on a hill. i did have to cut the block to take off equalizer bars. toured around town on Sunday. Bisset Park and Glencoe Museum. I considered leaving early only because the tree I was under was dropping These green balls that sounded like gunfire when they hit top of the trailer, an Airstream at that… we run from things like that.
