Married couple, adventurous and liked to meet new people Details: We are now retired and enjoy meeting others people. Ellis grew up camping and moved with family often. Sheryl grew up on a local farm with animals so always stayed close until we married 35+ years ago. We enjoy traveling, meeting locals where ever we are, enjoy our family and are content staying at home if needed. We are very active in our local fair and are active in two different schools with their FFA kids in leadership contests. Home Town: We live in the country about 16 miles north of Elkhart, IN. The nearest village is about 4.5 miles away. We are within 30 minutes to Shipshewana, IN, an amish community; or to Notre Dame in South Bend, IN. Lake Michigan and the dunes are about an hour away, as well. Favorite Boondocking Locations: Any location that is not urban Skills or Expertise to Share: Handy with tools.

We so enjoyed our stay at Cheryl and Ellis' home. They were very communicative, accommodating, and helpful. We would recommend this stop.

Very welcoming couple. They offered parking in their driveway due to all the rain making the ground quite soft. We had a very quiet restful night.

Host met us upon arrival, even though it was late and rainy! Very helpful with setting us up and information. Welcomed and invited us to stay again ... which we will if we’re in the area again.
