Sociable Details: My husband, Clint, and I are empty nesters. We love hosting travelers and making new friends. Both of us are homebodies, so when we retired, we decided to get out of our comfort zone and travel. We try to go out of state at least once a year and make many short trips around Texas. Home Town: Belton, Tx is our. home town. We live on the home place where I was raised. Favorite Boondocking Locations: We are just beginning our boondocking journey. Skills or Expertise to Share: I love to share my knowledge of crafting and sewing. I’m fairly handy with carpentry tools. Also, I consider myself a good problem solver when camping.

Beckie and Clint were so welcoming and helpful. Our plans shifted and we weren't able to stay as long as we had planned; hope to visit again soon!

Beautiful spot, easy access, turn into the drive was perfectly wide for our 40' 5th wheel. Parking in the big grass area was super quick and easy. Hosts welcomed us when we arrived and we didnt see them after that but super friendly! We enjoyed out quiet stay!

We had a great time. The hosts were very welcoming and made us feel at home. Because of the Eclipse they let more people stay but there was plenty of space for everyone. they had activities to keep people entertained while waiting for the Eclipse. The next day there was 6 inches of rain so they let people stay as long as they wanted until the ground dried. They did have a tractor available for the people who didn't want to wait to leave. Excellent experience.

Beckie & Clint are the best hosts you could ever dream of! We really cannot express how much we loved staying at their beautiful property! They both go above and beyond to make sure thier guests feel welcome, but we really hit the jackpot by booking a stay during the eclipse! Beckie planned special activities and a potluck dinner for everyone staying (nearly a dozen RVs) which made it feel like we were at a big, fun family reunion! Thier property is large and has a wonderful selection of sites to fit any size rig. In addition to all of this, Beckie's brother that lives on the other end of the property really went out of his way to help us drain some rain water away from our 5th wheel after a big storm. It was a pleasure getting to know these wonderful folks! We sure hope our travels bring us back around this way again sometime because it felt like we were leaving family behind as we drove away this morning!
