Perfect spot for snowbirds as they travel back and forth to their destination locations. Rural setting; very secluded and quiet location to unwind after any traveling. We are located 50 miles south of Montgomery, AL and 2 hours north of the Gulf of Mexico and sandy beaches. An hour from the Florida/Alabama line - AHHH - sounding better every moment. Cardinals flock to the terraced area early in the morning to greet all guests and plenty of wide open space to find a nice place to read a book or just sit and chill with a glass of your favorite beverage. We do have a shiz-tu/yorkie that freely roams our property that is very friendly. Any dogs coming in as guests need to be able to get along with Rocky and they are free to run all over and play. Husband and wife of fourty years traveling with our twelve pound doorbell, Rocky Details: We are recently retired and traveling the states and Alaska for 2019. We have a home in Alabama that we are working to set up for Boondockers as well. I have worked in the Environmental, Health and Safety field for twenty five years. We enjoy camping, motorcycles, hunting and just setting around the campfire with new friends. Home Town: We now call Brantley Alabama our home town. I have moved all over for my job. We found a great church with a great youth program that I am a part of. I enjoy the small town of Brantley Alabama and all that it has to offer.

Don is a wonderful, friendly host. He insisted on meeting me in town to escort me to his property and made sure I was level, had electricity, and water before he spent time with his friends who were visiting. My cat was able to roam free, although I'm not sure how happy Rocky was about that. Decent Verizon service and very quiet. Was able to get some work done and also rest up. Classic Boondockers Welcome spot.

Really escaped society for a bit at Dunbar’s paradise. Very restful, thank you.

Great host, Don we stood in the loft with cameras ready for deer and wildlife, but they knew and did not appear. Great grounds to wander round, very quite good nights sleep.

We had a 2 night stay at Sheep Trail Paradise and could happily have stayed longer. The host Don, was communicative and very interesting to talk with and get to know. The parking has a very slight slope, but only slight, and there is water and power available. Our host could not have been more helpful, even assisting us with a local firm to look at our windshield. Thanks Don. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and recommended it to any travellers passing through. Gary & Julia

Dan met me at a nearby intersection to guide me into the property and helped to get me settled safely for the night when some bad weather was expected. It was just a beautiful place to stay with some goats and chickens and horses next-door. beautiful place for my dogs to be able to run around and play with Rocky the resident canine and just have a generally wonderful time I would definitely come back.
