Our camping area is located just 3 blocks off the highway with hook-ups and sewer dump. Gordon, Nebraska is on Hiway 20 and is a great place to locate for day trips to The Black Hills, the Badlands of S.D. and Ft. Robinson State Park. We are between the Sandhills and the scenic Pine Ridge area of our state. Fishing, and hunting, all through the area. Gordon has an excellent 18 hole golf course. History is a big tourist draw too, as it is the home place of author Mari Sandoz. The Mari Sandoz Center is located at Chadron State College only 45 miles away.

We stayed on a Sunday night so many places to eat were open. We could walk to the downtown area. Lovely location.

One word describes my stay here...EASY! Directions were spot on. Jean greeted and guided me in. She provides water and electric if you want it. Flat grassy area. Thank you for sharing your space!

We spent 2 nights at Sheridan Street. Very quiet. Jean and Ron provide great amenities if needed. It was a plus to see they had a 50 amp! We took a drive to Custer State Park in South Dakota. Their spot was perfect for rest and relaxing. We enjoyed our conversations with Jean. Such a delightful, friendly person. We would highly recommend staying here if you are ever in the area.
