Location

Access Road Conditions: City neighborhood, paved, right angle turn into driveway, park on right side of driveway. Make sure you leave room to get out of your rig. Corner lot. Driveway is on a different street than address. Four miles from I-95 Exit 220. Tow Vehicle Parking Details: We have had to turn down some requests from people wanting to park a second vehicle. We just do not have room here. Street parking is not a good idea due to the narrow streets and through traffic.

We loved staying here. The hosts were so very kind and full of great information about the area and launches. The communication was fast and easy. The location so close to the water and beautiful views of the bridge and nature was amazing. We are so grateful for our stay here.

This was my first Boondocker’s Welcome stay (we are hosts too) and this surpassed our expectations. Convenient location and large level driveway to park my van for the evening. The hosts were very welcoming and knowledgeable about space launches & sent me a link to the best sight for watching and monitoring future launches. This trip was with my sister and I hope to return with my husband sometime to watch a launch.

Shoesonthetrail is a very friendly and welcoming couple. We had a great conversation after arrival. Their driveway was easy to find, flat and quiet. We hope to stay here again on future trips.

Jim & Elaine were wonderful hosts! We arrived later in the evening so we didn’t get to meet until morning. We got settled in the driveway, hooked up, & communicated by text. Mom & I had a nice restful sleep, & in the morning Elaine had me in for coffee. We had a wonderful time visiting. Then she & Jim came out to meet my 97 year old Mom who stays in the van. One of the best things about RVing is meeting great people, & Jim & Elaine are no exception! If you are needing to be in the area (especially for birding or exploring the Space Center at adjacent Merritt Island), I highly recommend staying at Shoesonthetrail!! Thx for your hospitality!!
