Early 60's retired couple traveling in our 2013 LTV Libero. Details: Former IT Manager and Education Assistant enjoying our later years looking forward to many more days on the road in our Libero. Having camped for many years in a VW Westfalia where we could often stealth camp, it is nice to camp where we don't have to worry about being interrupted and asked to move on. Home Town: Salmon Arm, BC. Moved here not so long ago after 30 years in North Delta, BC. Favorite Boondocking Locations: We like to camp pretty much everywhere... no favourites to list as yet but beaches in Baja are pretty high up on the list. Skills or Expertise to Share: Barry can provide Macintosh computer support and technology help. Fern is great in the garden and everywhere else for that matter!

Quiet and easily accessible from the Trans Canada highway. Our hosts were helpful and communicative, even from a distance. And the neighbours came to make sure all was well. Excellent stay. Thank you!

This was a perfect stopover for us. It was a very last minute request as we were only a few hours away when we decided to stop for the night. And when we reached out to the hosts, they graciously let us stay in their driveway even though they themselves were boondocking in Tucson! Communication was excellent. The parking spot was quiet, level, easy to get to. Hoping we will get to stay again smtm and nd meet our hosts 🙂.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and conversations with Barry and Fern. They are delightful hosts in so many ways. Barry is a wealth of tech and rig knowledge and Fern is a natural storyteller. We had a wonderful evening❣️😎😃👍 Thx

Thanks to Barry for his outstanding hospitality. We enjoyed chatting on the porch and being guinea pigs for his new pizza oven. Delish btw! Wish we had the chance to meet Fern, his wife, but she was away. Great stop on our journey, thank you 😊

We spent a very pleasant evening with Barry and look forward to meeting Fern on a future trip. You couldn't ask for a more gracious host, providing 30 amp electric, which meant we could use the air conditioner in the hottest part of the day; levelers that worked for his driveway; and stories and drinks in the evening on his pleasant porch. He even offered tomatoes from Fern's garden, which we forgot. Darn. We always bring a small gift from Michigan for our Boondockers Welcome hosts. And he had one for us as well - a jar of homemade Haskap jam, a local berry. Definitely a friendly, comfortable stop. We're so grateful!
