What a lovely home, and such lovely hosts too! Had a great night and walked their trails this morning - a wonderful space for a walking meditation

We stayed one night at Simple Solitude with our 20-foot travel trailer. Kirk and Geri were very friendly and hospitable. They have a beautiful home and forested acreage nestled in otherwise corn country. They provided quick responses to all of our communication and excellent directions. Their well-manicured trails through the woods are home to many local bird species. Definitely recommend this for an overnight stay and hope we can stop by again.

We stopped in for the night after a long travel day. The property is beautiful and an added bonus is the walking trails. It was great to have a quiet place to park and then take an early morning walk before another long travel day. I highly recommend this place and the hosts were great! It was fun to share van remodel stories and hear about their experiences. Thank you for sharing your beautiful property and being such accommodating hosts!

This is a most peaceful and quiet location to stay and the hosts are most welcoming and helpful. We were traveling and arrived during a severe thunderstorm, and they messaged to be sure we were OK. Kirk met us at the driveway entrance in pouring rain to help us get in. Smaller RVs can turn in the driveway, but we have a 32’ 5th wheel and had to back in. This is most easily accomplished if you plan ahead and arrive on their street from the east. Simple Solitude will be a stop should we ever return to this part of the country!
