We have a rustic, remote slice of heaven to share with you! At the end of a long day (and a long driveway), there's no better place to call home for a night. Enjoy camping on an isolated plateau high above the Skagit river. Our yard features peekaboo views of Mt. Baker, owls hooting in the forest, bald eagles soaring overhead, a lush variety of native plant life, nature trails with wild berries, a reflecting pond with water features, and a generously-sized fire pit to sit around when the sun goes down. Bring your family, some marshmallows, folding chairs, and campfire stories! Stop by on your way to Mt Baker, North Cascades NP, Concrete, Twisp, and Winthrop. Plenty of farm stands, fishing, small towns, nature preserves, and recreation in the area. About 30 minutes from Sedro Woolley, 45 minutes east of scenic Mt Vernon, one hour from La Conner.

House Rules

NO pictures or video of the property without explicit permission from us. Please don't leave things outside your rig that our dog can get to. He will definitely eat them. Please keep vehicles, drinking, and smoking in the open area by the fire pit. Please keep pets in your rig at night - there are bears and cougars in the area. No bad days allowed!

Location

Access Road Conditions: Our property is located at the end of a long, narrow, unpaved dirt/gravel easement after an uphill hairpin turn. Please be aware of the weather, your turn radius, and your proficiency level with your individual setup. Most importantly, don't stop till you get to the top! It's hard to get going again! Due to the sharp turn, we recommend motorhomes/campervans be no longer than 25' and that trailers be no larger than 20'. 4WD is required if towing a trailer. Please contact us if you run into issues getting up the hill and we can reroute you to our other, flatter host location or a local campground. Tow Vehicle Parking Details: Please park by your rig in the open area by the fire pit. We are also working on other areas for small motorhomes/campervans.

This is a beautiful property with wonderful hosts. We enjoyed a visit with them when we arrived and would have loved to have sat around the fire with them later but it rained. We were able to buy some fresh eggs and thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The drive in was fine with our Navion J24.
