House Rules

I am a friendly site and love to have new people and make new friends, but from experience, I have a few rules. No smoking or drugs, no hunting on my property, all pets on leash except with permission (is very possible! Please ask!). No loud music. Short stays only. Must leave the place as nice as you found it. No generators. My dogs are working dogs and one of them does not play with children very well. He does play frisbeefrisbee with older children and is a friendly and loving pup - he works as a SAR dog.

We had a lovely stay with Michelle and company. Very accommodating hostess. Our van was level without blocks, the space is beautiful and relaxing, we exchanged homemade goodies and great conversation around the firepit, which was blazing and inviting. On the top of my list. Thanks Michelle!

We rolled in on the most miserable rainy cold day. Michelle was right there to make sure we had everything we needed and as soon as we got parked the sky opened up and drenched us and continued all night. Griff had a chance to meet the chickens and the goats in the morning as well as Gracy and Bones the super dogs. We left in the morning with fresh eggs and a desire to return when the weather is more cooperative. Thanks Michelle we appreciated your wonderful hospitality.

Thanks Michelle for a great stay! I had a rough day on the road and getting to Skunkspit Farm, sitting around the fire with a beer and great conversation was just the ticket. Walked the farm, met the goats, watched Bonez & Grace do some herding and frisbee catching, the next day. Got to see the tiny guest house which is beautiful. This farm has an amazing mission and I can’t wait to come back!!

Needed a place to stay for the night. Made new friends, human and canine. Eleven acres of woods and field. We had a chance to stretch our legs, throw frisbee for the dogs, visit with the chickens and goats and great conversation around a fire. Truly a wonderful spot.
