Enjoy Wisconsin's beautiful capitol in our driveway! Water connection and 30amp electric hookup (both on driveway side of house), no dumping stations onsite, but there's a Gander in Deforest about 15 min north with a free dump station. About 10 minutes from downtown, 5 minutes to one of the major malls, lots of restaurants and amenities nearby, and Wisconsin Dells (water and theme parks) is about an hour north. Wifi available upon request, and partially fenced in front and back yard, please keep your dogs on leash as we are on a busy road and people walk by often. Please pick up after them. We are currently living in Florida, but my brother is managing the property so please make yourself at home, electric connection is on far back corner of house near garage and water can be hooked up as long as no leaks present. If there are leaks in your hose or connections please just fill up your water tank. PLEASE BE VERY CAREFUL NOT TO HIT FENCE, MAILBOX, OR DRIVE ON NEIGHBORS YARD. Mi casa es tu casa! Location

Parking is in the driveway and front yard area. Rig needs to be pulled forward to reach water and electric. Backing in is extremely difficult due to the busy road in front and is not recommended. Neighbor is very understanding, but please be mindful not to drive or trespass on his yard. Tow vehicle may be trapped in front as there is not enough space to take it out once the tow vehicle is completely pulled forward with rig. One extra parking space next to rig allowed if any extra vehicles.

This is a driveway that comes up rather abruptly directly after a fence. Great place and incredibly convenient to stores and food! A perfect place to regroup. My after the fact suggestion would, especially if the highway is busy, to plan on driving by it so you see where it is and then go around the block and time your drive by to the light before it on the highway. Pulling out is simple if you watch the light and time it to the red that stops all lanes of traffic. Water and electric ($15) was a blessing.

Great visit. Very helpful and it was easy getting in and out with our 30 Foot Class C pulling a vehicle.

We just wrapped up a long weekend stay with this host and it could not have worked out better for us. Plenty of room in the driveway for our nearly 40-foot rig, a place to park our car, and an electrical hookup we ended up taking advantage of due to the colder overnight temps this time of year. Host was communicative via text and very flexible with our arrival and departure times. This place really is just a short drive from downtown Madison and we could hardly believe we'd found somewhere to park our big rig so close to the city. We were 10-15 minutes from everywhere we wanted to visit/meet up with friends. Having a grocery store across the road was also so convenient! Yes, this spot is on a busy road, but it really wasn't much of a challenge pulling in or backing out. That said, we're from Madison originally, so we were familiar with the area. Some advice: -don't bother trying to back in, just pull in! It's much easier. -if you're still worried about holding up traffic: at the last stoplight preceding the host's driveway, there's a little strip mall. You can pull through that strip mall parking lot, wait for the light to turn red, and then pull back out onto the road and make the right turn into the driveway. There are decent traffic breaks! -when backing out to leave, you can wait for the same traffic break at the light before their property before pulling all the way out of the driveway. This place worked out great for us. Thanks so much for an awesome stay!

The owners description is correct it is hard to back into this space because of the busy roadin front of the house. We were able to make it into the driveway and stayed 2 nights before venturing to the capitol. We did use electrical which was an extention cord even if it is on a 30amp circuit. The communication was good on answering some of our questions and moving a vehicle out of the driveway. It worked out well just read the owners description and know what your heading into. Thanks for the space.

The name "Smack Dad In The City" IS an accurate description of this property. However, on the day we were to arrive, multiple calls and text messages were never answered. Upon arriving at the property - we found it is on a 4 lane thoroughfare. NO where to stop and back into the property. When we arrived there was a vehicle in the narrow driveway preventing any attempt to stop the traffic on the very busy 4 lane highway in front of the house. Fortunately, after an 8 hour drive, we were able to stay at a local Walmart.
