We have a hobby farm with small animals such as guineas and chickens. Use to have goats and ducks but have been downsizing over the last couple of years. We have over 40 pecan trees, a stocked pond and woods in the back of the property. Very peaceful with great neighbors. We do RV ourselves so can't always host. Suggested Local Attractions:We are 30 minutes from Lake Texoma and about 45 minutes to the Choctaw Casino in OK. Also about a hour north of the Dallas area.

My wife and I live on a small farm and are like Green Acres in reverse. Details: I am retired and my wife is semi-retired. She does two farmer's markets a week during the season. We love to RV and ATV. We love animals, meeting new people and traveling around our beautiful country. Home Town: My wife in from Paris, TX and a country girl. I am the city boy living on in the country now. We do love our farm and love to come back to it after a trip in our RV. Favorite Boondocking Locations: Almost anywhere in the west. Love Quartzsite, Utah and Colorado almost anywhere out west. BLM land. Skills or Expertise to Share: My wife is a great cook, gardener and outstanding hairdresser. I am not real mechanically inclined so she helps me there as well.

Very nice place to stay. A little bit awkward to get to. But once Mike meets you on his golf cart all is well. His wife also gave us a loaf of fresh cinnamon bread. Which was delicious! Great place to spend the night.

Our stay with Michael and Rene was fantastic. First of all, the communication was very good, when we arrived Michael helped us parking our rig and told us more about the farm. Rene, bless her!, brought a cinnamon bread for us. It was sooo delicious!!! And the next morning we woke up to a heartwarming note and a few flowers and fresh mint leaves which Rene left for us. I mean… what a lovely touch!!! The farm is spacious and we were able to go for a little stroll with our baby. We also had electric hook up. This was a 10 out of 10! People like Rene and Michael make our trip way better and more memorable.

We had a wonderful time visiting with Michael & Renee at their Small Texas Farm. This is an ideal boondocking location. Renee gifted us a homemade loaf of Cinnamon Bread. Michael built a great fire in the backyard pit. We enjoyed a wonderful time of visiting & sharing camping stories.

Michael was such a great host - even met us at the property entrance on a golf cart and lead us in. We were heading out west to places that he’s frequented so we were able to get some great advice as to places to Boondocker along the route. What a great evening around a campfire swapping stories and enjoying the night. We will certainly try to return. His little dog Bella is a sweetheart / I wish we could include pictures with this review as i jnow you’d fall in love with her.
