Access Road Conditions: Tar road to the farm; gravel road (few hundred feet) to the parking spots. We're located at the crest of a hill with the main (tar) road on front side and a seasonal dirt road on the back. Your GPS may try to take you up the back road (shortest) but that road is not appropriate for RV's. So call us for directions prior to coming to the farm. This was such a beautiful and peaceful place to rest! It was well worth the drive through the narrow roads! We stayed in the area by the pond and it was wet and rainy but so restful! The host was super friendly and we really enjoyed the conversation.

This is a true Gem. If you are traveling through the western NY area you need to stop here. We were treated very graciously upon our arrival. Wonderful to wake up to cows in the pasture overlooking a small pond. We cannot wait to come back!

Hosts Farmerdoc made us feel so welcome, and we enjoyed sharing stories with them around the campfire. Their property is beautiful; we had a secluded spot by the pond next to a a gorgeous, wooded hillside. We enjoyed a bike ride along the Allegheny River Valley Trail, just minutes from their place. The quaint town of Ellicottville was a half hour away, with nice eateries and shops. The closer towns of Olean and Allegheny offered much as well. We had a great time during our stay, and highly recommend this Boondockers Welcome stop.
