We are a retired couple that just moved to South Carolina from Maine. Details: We are an outgoing couple that likes to see the country and meet new people and make new friends Home Town: We are from Farmington Maine, but moved to South Carolina in August 2021. We decided to move to SC after traveling the country for 6 months during the winter for 5 winters. We liked the south and warmth so much we decided to sell our home in Maine and move to SC. In ME we did not have enough room to host at our in-town home, but here in SC we have plenty of room on our new property. We still do have plans on doing more traveling but it's on hold for awhile. We have boondocked, camped and traveled in lots of places from the desert of Arizona to the beaches of Texas and Louisiana and everything in between. From the east coast to west coast. I was a manager of a store. I have mechanical abilities and work on my own vehicles, I do carpentry and minor Plumbing, an all around handy man.

We spent 3 nights at Brian's place. Brian was the best host! He was super responsive in messages and very welcoming! Parking area was solid and leveled. We were truly boondocking but there was a water hookup available. Like everyone else said, there was some road noise but it didn't bother us at all. We had a great time at the Sandhills Wildlife refuge. Also checked out the revolutionary war museums in Camden and the cotton museum in Bishopville. A great experience! would love to be back in the fall to check out the wildlife refuge again.

Welcoming hosts. evening started a forw which was very nice. Brian waved me down so i didn’t miss my turn. I gave rhe access a 4 star only because its a busy hoghway to turnoff. But pay attention to Brian’s instructions. get in the turning lane in order to turn into their location. You need a little patience to wait for a break in traffic but Brian will guide you in. Easy level parking. Bonus having access to water. Only potential downside is if you are sensitive to noise the hoghway traffic can be heavy during the day, but it is significantly quieter at night. Thank you for your hospitality.
