We have a large yard. ( Vehicles on RV location in picture will not be there during your stay) The spot for an RV or camper is pretty flat but the rest of the yard is slanted some. We have some woods you’re welcome to explore at your own risk. We are just every day normal countryfolk. We do have an above ground pool that is 4 feet deep. If it is ready and clean at the time of your stay, you’re welcome to use it completely at your OWN RISK. If you have any children with you, they will need monitored at ALL times, not only for the swimming pool but also, the back road that we live on has a speed limit that not everyone abides by and then there’s the knoll in the road ❤️ We love animals 🐕 🐈 but as we have free roaming cats, we will not be able to accommodate any aggressive or dangerous breeds of dogs. Suggested Local Attractions:We are five minutes away from Woods Tall Timber Resort! Their water toys and zip lining is only scratching the surface of the fun you could have there. In NewPhiladelphia, 10 minutes away, we have the Tuscora Park. During their season they have a large swimming pool, diving pool, duckpond, and children’s mechanical rides. For example, their antique carousel! Less than 15 minutes to Dennison, there’s the Dennison Railroad Museum! Check out their website as they also have activities and train rides at certain times of the year. Another popular location less than 15 minutes away is Atwood Lake Park. If you’re headed to any of these, definitely check out their website and stay here if you need/want to before, after or during your visit there.

Loving, motivated, country parents. Details: Hi! We welcome you to stay in the sticks! We have 2 children at home. They’re 11 and 13. We are so excited to get on the road, although not ready quite yet, so when I found Boondockers Welcome I thought to myself, WE DEFINITELY HAVE room. We love meeting new people but understand if you need your space. Home Town: 25 minutes South Of Canton OH. We live in the sticks between New Philadelphia Ohio & Dennison Ohio. There’s lots to do in and around the area. Tuscora Park, Woods Tall Timber Resort, Dennison Railroad Depot and more. Favorite Boondocking Locations: We have only technically boondocked once, years ago. We just bought a used RV that we are currently renovating. So I don’t have any locations to share at the moment :( Skills or Expertise to Share: My husband Jason was a generator repair person in the US Army. Aside from that he’s pretty much a jack of all trades . I am a retired LPN, and an aspiring Jane of all trades lol.

I dearly wish we would have scheduled our trip to stay here longer and will make sure that when we travel east again, we do. This is the perfect spot to enjoy putting your feet up for a spell. The hosts were kind and gracious from the minute we saw Jason waiting for us at the end of their driveway. He greeted us warmly, gave us great instructions on where to park - and that grassy spot is very nearly level. This location is SUPER quiet and absolutely beautiful. The morning bird sounds and sunlight peeking through the trees were a delight to wake to. We couldn't have had a more perfect stay. Thank you tremendously!

This is a gorgeous and peaceful place to stay the night. We watched 4 deer browse throughout the evening. Even got to see one of the roaming kitty-cats. We missed seeing the hosts but are so appreciative they let us stay. Great communication previous to our arrival. Thank you for such a pleasant overnight.

This was a great overnight stay. We found a level spot and the night was very quiet and dark. We are sorry we missed the Hosts but so happy they approved our stay without them being there. Thank you again In the Sticks!
