House Rules
No generators after 8pm and limited use - meaning, no more than 1 hour at a time. I really prefer no generators but understand if you need to turn it on briefly to use the microwave. Generators will annoy my neighbors and therefore should not be run regularly in this location.
Location
Limited space for turnarounds. Easier to just back up my short street. Parking is flat though.

I’m a hiker, biker, skier, runner, lover of adventure. Living the dream in the Columbia River Gorge. Enjoying traveling in our 2021 Winnebago Travato I nicknamed Vinnie. Looking forward to sharing more adventures and appreciate the boondocking lifestyle. Been a #sweetvanlife lover for many years.

We enjoyed our quiet stay in Stevenson. We were just driving through so it was a qucik stay. We appreciated having a free place to sleep in a safe and quiet neighborhood.

We had a good night rest in front of the hosts’ home. Although we did not get to meet with them due to previous engagement they had, the hosts kept the communication open until we got there, and even left out an electric outlet for us to use. The place was easy to find, parking was level and quiet at night. it’s exactly what what we needed, a safe and nice place to sleep at night before we headed out to the Multnomah Falls early the next morning. Thank you so much for allowing us to stay the night at your home.

Lovely quiet area. Our host was great and we enjoyed the back deck with a wonderful view of the gorge. Exchanged many stories about our travels and shared insights about our vans.

I was lucky to be confirmed to stay the same day I needed a place at the Gorge. Convenient to the nice town of Stevenson, this house is on a quiet street in a safe and attractive neighborhood. Parking would be easiest for a van and I had no trouble in my 19’ Promaster. The only noise at night was the distant train (not as annoying as on the OR side of the river) and an occasional animal. My little terrier was thrilled with the wildlife, as the neighbor puts out food for a large group of wild turkeys with their babies, then the deer herd and then the squirrels! I didn’t have a chance to meet Ken but Amy was gracious and hospitable. I’d love to come back to the area when we have time to visit.
