A small organic homestead with poultry, dogs and other animals roaming the place. The parking area is to the rear for smaller RV's and on drive near front for large ones in a secluded quiet space. That said, the sounds of nature can be a bit noisy, especially at night in the spring! Pretty good stargazing, a picnic table and fire ring for a relaxing evening. Relatively level spots, may have to reverse or turn around larger rigs, anything under 30' or so should be able to drive out. Suggested Local Attractions:We are within 1 hour of Niagara Falls, Buffalo, Rochester, Lewiston and Old Fort Niagara. It is minutes away from Point Breeze and Oak Orchard River where sport fishing, kayaking, canoeing and swimming can be enjoyed. Many antique and wine trails, and the Erie Canal corridor with turn of the century canal towns galore. Cobblestone Museum complex minutes away also.

Vanlife retiree living on organic homestead Details: I am a semi retired widow who finds great joy in traveling on a shoestring. Love meeting the locals, living the life of each destination. I live in a renovated granary raising organic poultry and vegetables. Growing things, teaching others practical skills, cooking and baking are all passions of mine....I love traveling; not to just see sights, but to meet the people who live there. When not traveling, I am hosting others on their travels at my farm. What am I about? Posted in my home are these 5 rules for living- Love God Family first Be kind Tell the truth Work hard I once read that "the virtue of hospitality is an attitude of the heart". That is what I hope to share and partake of with Boondockers Welcome! We were staying overnight for a quick stop off to Niagara Falls on the way back to IL. our host was very nice and offered suggestions for a place to eat locally and gave us good insight on the best scenic way to Goat Island. It was a little bit of a tight squeeze getting in the back and turned around with a 36ft travel trailer but was doable.
