We are located just off highway 550. We have the best views in Montrose and a super convenient location, just 21 minutes to hot springs in Ridgway, and hour and 15 minutes to both Silverton and Telluride. There are amazing hiking locations in all directions along with any other outdoors activities you like. We live about 15 minutes from Montrose main street and a half hour to the Black Canyon National Park. We live right across the street from La Nou Dubois winery.

You can park a separate tow vehicle in our driveway or next to your rv. You will use our neighbors driveway to access the area. We have a camper next to the electric hookup currently but it is not in use. When you turn off our neighbors driveway, just try to drive where you see other tire marks as much as possible. There is plenty of space to turn around.

Hello, my husband, Steven, and I are new hosts in Montrose, CO and we are beginning farmers so we are likely only going to be traveling close to home most of the time. We absolutely love Durango and Moab. We love to save money and just sleep in our car when we travel a lot of the time. I am a little sensitive to higher elevations where a lot of free camping sites are located so I think using this site will be really helpful! Sometimes we also really want to do something in town like music festivals or live music and then we don't have to find a place to camp in the dark. We usually end up at Walmarts but would definitely prefer something less commercial! We are music teachers for our profession and usually bring our instruments when we travel but are very respectful about quiet times, etc!
