We stayed at Buds property after a long trek from Alaska. Bud was super easy to communicate with, easy parking, dog friendly, and even enjoyed an evening beverage a few nights. We had plans to go to another BW but Bud offered us to stay through the weekend and we happily said yes so we could explore more of Whidbey Island. Bud gave us a list of great places to see and even brought us coffee one morning! What an amazing host and cant wait to come back!

We loved staying at Bud's; the property is beautiful and close to town and Whidbey state park beach. Bud was a perfect host; cool to talk to and helpful with his suggestions of the area. The blackberries were in season and we filled up a large bowl to make jam. Verizon and T-Mobile were spotty when the jets were flying over, but were about 4G 2 bars otherwise. Lots of field space and great for solar panels. Beware of the yellow jackets this time of the year however; they were definitely a nuisance.

Very much enjoyed our 3 day stay at Bud's Strait View property. Bud is very friendly and so are the deer we saw daily. The beach is only 1 mile down the road and so is Joseph Whidbey State Park, where we enjoyed the gorgeous sunsets and scenery. We also visited Fort Ebey and Fort Casey and stopped at the many beaches along the way. Would definitely recommend Bud's place!

Better late than never with my review. First off, follow Bud's directions if you have a big rig, do not trust your RV gps. Bud was a super host, we couldn't have ask for a better boon docking location. He gave us information on every highlight in the area and good recommendations on restaurants. We enjoyed happy hour with beertinis and swapped all kinds of stories. A great stop, quiet and cool evenings. Large area to park with fire pit and picnic table. Would love to get back here!
