Another addition we have added to our site is a small room attached to our shower house which contains a washing machine for your use. A donation of $3.00 a load (wash and dry) is requested. We have kept this donation fee separate because we didn't want our stay requested donation fee to be any higher. We are on well water so thoughtful use of water is appreciated. We want you to enjoy your stay. You the visitor will dictate if rules have to be added or changed. We want you to enjoy our piece of Heaven ! New for 2021 we have upgraded our parking area . We now have an 18' X 50' gravel pad ! Hi everybody! Happy New Year to all of you out there. Picture is just to calm your heart ! As a host I just got done upgrading my agreement with BW . I don't agree with everything and I hope I don't get in trouble for posting some of my thoughts. I realize some of the rules need to be in place for a few of "Bad Apples " in the bushel. Let me explain my position on the number of nights that someone can stay. The new rule is 5 nights within 90 days and I do understand for what this Group was originally started for. My rules are a little different according to your "Credit Report "(I'll explain in a little bit). As hosts we try to look for places that we would like to be a "Guest " at so this is where a lot of our side of thinking come from. Now I will get to the point. Our site is on the Eastern Shore of Maryland (35 mi. from Ocean City),so we are in a summertime resort area that can be very expensive for a family vacation. Since I regulate our site and since We get the same "credit" whether a guest stays one night or five nights here is the offer and the rules. If planning a weeks vacation in this area and if you make reservations with us 1 month in advance ( and have a good credit score ) we will let you stay 2 weekends with the week in between with just one posting to BW. All other rules apply as if just staying individual nights.(Donations, Etc.) We want people to be able to "Explore the Shore " without breaking their wallet. Now , let's explain the credit score. When we get a BW request we look at your profile very carefully. We read what other hosts have to say about you, how many times you have used BW ,and look at what you use for RVing. All this is your "credit score". So,just like anywhere else, a good "Credit Score " usually gets you a better deal. All that said, hope you give us a try, keep your "Credit Score " high and go out and explore this Great Country and be Safe. Sorry for the long post and hearing me out!
Access Road Conditions: We live on a well maintained tar and chip (almost blacktop) road a little over 2 miles from Route 50 (major highway for the "shore"). The" easternshore " is flatland country, no hills to worry about. Our location is easily accessible . Tow Vehicle Parking Details: I have a large Pole Building behind our house with a large graveled area in front of it which is used as a turn around area. My RV carport is also near my main building with areas around it for parking. Pickups pulling trailers, and 5th wheels (around 30 ft.) can probably do a U-turn in the gravel area ,anything longer will probably have to back in the driveway from the road. This also applies to Motorhomes also. We have a 35 ft. class C pulling a Toad and I can't make the full swing. I have to unhook the Toad once I get back to the gravel area after pulling in. If you want to stay hooked up you can,or unhook if you like. we live on 2.3 acres.

We stayed the night in chilly October and the power hookup and hot shower was very appreciated. Our hosts were super nice and set up a fire pit for us and another couple that were staying there. Thanks for the hospitality and conversation. We wish you all the best!

We had a wonderful stay at Jeff and Sue's. It was quite the adventure for sure. We are new to the rv life and still learning a lot! We had a bit of a mishap when we arrived. They were very gracious and helpful with it. Then due to a sudden illness and death back home we had complications. They were so kind and helped us out. We could not have asked for better hosts!! God put us at the right place at the right time for what we had to deal with. Sweet people to assist with the situation. We enjoyed our time as well as the visit and the chocolate muffins!!! They gave great suggestions for where to visit in the area. They have an awesome set up!!! We will definitely visit them again anytime we are nearby. Thanks again Jeff and Sue!!

The stay was very beautiful, quiet and the hosts were very communicative and willing to be flexible when my schedule changed. I was able to rest coming in late on my pass through the area and rest in during the morning to wake up to a gorgeous view of fields and trees. I didn't use the shower, laundry, water or electric hookup, trash can ECT but these are excellent to have and I really appreciate what a exceptional spot they have to welcome boondockers! Thanks again!!

Jeff and Sue have a special place in our hearts and we will remember them always. They are so caring, nice, kind and generous. We are so thankful that the universe put them in our path when we need them more than they know. We were traveling south from CT. We were going to stay at Assateague National Seashore for a few days before Christmas 2022. But then we were hit with a very bad storm and the temperature was going to go down to single digits. We needed a place to stay that we can plug in to stay warm. We are so thankful that Jeff and Sue accepted our request and they had the perfect set up. We hunkered down and stayed warm. They kept checking in on us to make sure we are ok. They even invited us to join them for a Christmas breakfast at a restaurant so we would not be lonely during the holidays without the kids this year. Jeff and Sue are truly our real life angels. We are sending two extra angel wings their way. May all the good things come their way gazillion times over.

The setup that Jeff and his wife have made is wonderful..from the covered sitting area, the heaters, and the fire pit. When we were here Jeff and his wife were traveling also so we didn't get to personally meet..but we texted and spoke on the phone often and Jeff was so pleasant to talk with and can only imagine actually meeting them! The parking is wonderful gravel, level and very easy access 😀 we will definitely come back when we travel this way! Thank you Katherine and Barry
