Our stay at the Sugar Shack was the most memorable of our cross Canada trip so far. Irene was a most personable host and gave us a facinating tour of the family maple syrup operation. He encouraged us to wander the beautiful forest and observe how the sap is collected. Several flat parking surfaces to choose from, easy access. Highly recommended!

Host was super great, gave us directions where to swim in the river, SO refreshing after a hot day. Gave good recommendations for our next stop of Old Quebec City. Gave us a tour of the Maple Syrup process which was so interesting. All round we highly recommended a stop here.

Irené is the most gracious host! We make it a point to stay with him on our way out east. Beautiful spot by a serene pond surrounded by a canopy of maple trees. Far better than any campsite we’ve stayed at! Thank you!
