We are a family of 5. When we are not traveling we enjoy spending time on our homestead, taking care of animals and being outdoors. We enjoy camping when time allows and would love to travel out west before the kids graduate from school.

We stayed with a same day request and quick approval. Parking spot was level. Didn’t use electric service but had to start up the generator in the morning to recharge the battery after using the A/C overnight because we couldn’t have windows open due to smelling burning trash. Host and his children chatted with us before we left. Not a terrible stay, but not the best.

A young boy welcomed us and pointed to where we should park. Barking dogs greeted us and continued through the night. Adults were probably busy except briefly when we arrived.

Everyone was wonderful, we had a great time visiting the Ohio State Reformatory museum where they filmed the movie Shawshank Redemption.

We had a delightful stay at this Harvest Host. Nathan was great and extremely helpful. He is a ver knowledgable young man. Jesse and Katie were also very helpful. No light polution, very peaceful. Eggs, jellies, relish, soaps to chose from. very helpful in telling us where to find what we were looking for in the Amish community. We would go back to stay with them if we get to return to the area.
