Our Boondocker guest site has peak-a-boo views of beautiful Sproat Lake. The orange cone in the pictures indicates the site where you would stay. We have excellent cell phone coverage with Rogers/Fido. No Telus signal available. There is a free sani-dump and free overnight RV parking nearby at the Tseshaht Market (Western Nation) approximately 7 km's away. Suggested Local Attractions:Sproat Lake and Alberni Inlet. Fish and Duck Pub (seasonal openings) just 5 minutes down the road. Port Alberni is a 15 minute drive away. Tofino, Ucluelet and Pacific Rim National Park are a 1.5 hour drive away. Lots of hiking and bike trails close by. Host has maps of local trails.

Loving life at the lake Details: We are long-term lakers who love where we live and are happy to share it with you. We recently started RV’ing. Our first trip in 2018 was a month long. We travelled down the west coast of the States, then up through California and along Highway 395. In 2019 we took another trip south of the border, this time focusing on Arizona. We were so glad we had over a month before our trip was cut short because of Covid. We also enjoy boating and air travel. Home Town: Port Alberni Favorite Boondocking Locations: Miracle Valley and Sedona, AZ Skills or Expertise to Share: Darren is a commercial rated fixed wing pilot, electrician and has run a handyman business.

Gorgeous spot und wonderful hosts.They are a lot fun to be around with!The parking is calm, has some shade and benches and chairs to make you comfy.

Wow what a great place. Super campsite layout and very quiet pace to sleep. We were lucky enough to meet Liz and Darrell and had some great chats about traveling and Port Alberni. We found out that we actually stayed in the same place when we travelled to Mexico . And they stayed in Sámara Beach Costa Rica as well , crazy. This was our first stay with Boondockers and it’s going to be hard to beat it. Darrell has been in Port Alberni all his life so he is definitely a great resource for local information, as well as travel information as well . You guys rock! Brad & Rox 👍

We felt very welcome at Sunnyvale. We felt like being in s private campsite..... Very luxurious with a wonderful seating area and even a toilet next to the camper. Darren and Liz were very friendly and we had a nice chat and they gave USA lot of tips. Thank you very much
