The Suwannee River Gator Nest is easily accessible in the winter & spring when we are here. It is 10 minutes from Fanning Springs, Florida and nearby hiking, biking, boating and restaurants are close by. It is about 45 minutes west of the University of Florida Gators campus and a similar distance from Cedar Key, a quaint fishing village. House Rules
No smoking on property Children must be supervised at all times and able to swim as the Suwannee River has a strong current. No generator running after 10pm. Visitors must coordinate with our schedule as we also RV and may not be available for guests. The Suwannee River is a wilderness river with wildlife, snakes, river creatures, bugs, deer & local animals. Visit only if comfortable and assume all responsibility for any accidents.
Location
Access Road Conditions: Our property is at the end of a dirt road, on a 1 acre wooded river lot. Drivers must be able to maneuver in tight spaces after a winding driveway. We are able to keep our 21’Rockwell here and park inside our RB garage. Large rigs will not be able to park here. Tow Vehicle Parking Details: Next to RV on our river property lot.

The Suwannee River Gator Nest was exactly what my soul needed and my hosts couldn't have been more accommodating and kind. Incredible sunsets/sunrises, walks to the river (thanks to Denny's map!) and full-access to the back deck overlooking the river. By far, this stay was my favorite BW stay! Thank you Denny & Peggy!!!

Our host, Denny, welcomed us warmly and showed us around his property, including a large deck overlooking the river and generous area to park. When asked, he suggested a place for dinner and in all ways was a kind, thoughtful host. We'll definitely visit again if in the region.

Our maiden voyage was perfect! The hosts were great and ever so helpful. The location was also gorgeous.

Our host were some of the friendliest and kind people one could meet. They are the type that stop overs so pleasant. The site was well prepared and hookups available. The communication was superb as he met us a front to guide us in. Enjoyed the view of the river in the evening with a beautiful view of the sunrise in the morning. Thamk you to our host and hope to meet up again.
