Retired lady exploring out of the way places in my RV. Details: I live in north eastern Oregon 6 miles from Wallowa Lake and the Wallowa Mtns. Retired May 2014. I camphost around the USA in the summers. I camp hosted in Seward Alaska, my first work camping job!! I continue to enjoy my travelling around and staying at many beautiful spots. I love nothing better than to sit in front of a campfire with a glass of wine after eating a great meal made over the fire in cast ironware. I look forward to rainy days so I can catch up on my reading or practice my painting while I listen to the sound of raindrops on the metal roof of my RV. I love to hit lots of small towns, meeting the locals, going to yard sales, taking long walks and doing some fishing in lakes and streams. Home Town: I live in beautiful Wallowa County, Oregon in the town of Enterprise. Favorite Boondocking Locations: I love anywhere near water and love to explore small towns and out of the way woodsy areas or deserts where I find a sense of peace and tranquility. I lost my dog and though I'm not yet ready to get another, yet, I love being able to care for and interact with the pets of others! Skills or Expertise to Share: I've been tinkering around with cooking over the fire with cast iron pots and pans. Lots of amazing dishes have been invented and a couple of charcoal na nas too. I have been on my own for a long while and have become pretty good at figuring out how to do lots of "fix it" chores while out traveling in my RV. Most recently, I have been trying my hand at painting, both acrylics and watercolors*! I have no idea what I am doing but sometimes things I paint don't come out half bad! Other times, ...well.. Regardless, it is fun. Fun, Fun, Fun!! that is all I ever think about! Lol! I love being retired and free to roam!
