We live on 8 acres west of Townsend. There is a pond for those who like to fish. There's some good size bass, crappies, and catfish, among others. There is plenty of room to turn around and it's nice and quiet. I have a 50 amp RV power outlet on the back of the house that will reach to the driveway with an extension cord. There is a dump station at the Smyrna rest area about 8 miles south. $10. We're 20 miles from Dover Downs for you race fans and there is also free water and dump there. The beaches are about 80 miles.

House Rules
After much soul-searching, we have decided to restrict our location only to those who can reciprocate as hosts. That was the original intent of Boondockers Welcome and, as founding members, we feel that what started as a simple, decent concept has morphed into something else. May I suggest Harvest Hosts, Hipcamp, Campendium, and state parks. We will make an exception for those from overseas. Also, dogs are limited to one and MUST be leashed. We live in the country with lots of wild animals. We have never charged for electric and never will.

Both retired and looking to stay warm in the winter. Details: Two retired factory workers. We are low-key and thankful for our good fortune in life. We enjoy drinks at 5, but not to excess. Always interested in good conversation, but like our privacy as well. Come and relax for a few days. Skills or Expertise to Share: Nothing really. Terry's a good cook. I've stumbled and bumbled my way through life and somehow made it to retirement with all my fingers and teeth and some of my brain cells. More good luck then good management, that's for sure. We live in Florida January to April. We're just south of Kissimmee but our driveway is too small to be of much use as a boondocking spot.

I was so relieved to have a few days of quiet in a beautiful setting. As a newbie it was so nice to be around people who are so willing to share their knowledge and lend a hand when I needed it. (and I needed it more than once!) As a female alone I felt safe and well rested. Just real, lovely people sharing life stories and opinions. I felt super fortunate to have landed there!! Hope to return on my way back in a couple of years. Or find out what they have been up to!!

Terry & Malcolm's place is in a great location with lots of amenities very close by. These folks are very kind and the parking is excellent. We would happily stay here anytime we are in the area and easily recommend this host. We had a nice visit with Malcolm and he had some good stories & advice to share.
